That would be awesome – I hope you’re right.  He would be a great assistant for our program, and then there’s the added benefit of disappointing, what it is now, about 17 million?  🙂

Yeah, I may still not be completely on the Harding bandwagon, but my thoughts about him and the OLINE changed week by week following the of the end of the Wazzu game earlier this season.

I’ll start singing his praises at the top of my lungs, of it doesn’t take until the end of the 4th game of the season to convince me next hear.

I had exactly the same problem, and had to call the ticket office to get it corrected.  They told me that somehow my name (or some internal idenifier) was not added to the list of people who were allowed to buy tickets, so he added me manually, and I immediatly had access to all the tickets that were still available (which was not many).

I’m not aware of any New Years Eve activites sponsored by the U, but I do recall activites like this at past bowls.  Perhaps they are still in the process of organizing them.

The UofU alumni Association is sponsoring a tailgate prior to the game, at the Rose Bowl (probably actually just adjacent to the Rose Bowl on the golf course).  I purchased tickets through the alumni association, as a result of getting an email from the Crimson Club.  I don’t have the emails anymore, so I can’t point you directly to anyone, but I’d call either the Crimson Club, or the Alumni Association.

They are a bit pricey, but for me, this is a bucket list activity, so I’m spending whatever it takes to get the most out of it 🙂

If it’s bad for ASU it makes me happy… I’m a simple man.

      My response…

You beat me too it – cannot stand that school…

The best part about how bad ASU looks for next year, is that with the imoprovment at Arizona, they will likely get hammered by their rival 🙂

I hope not, as much as I love what Urban did for Utah in 2003-2004, he is nothing but trouble.  We’re better off without his involvement.

I would guess that there are more people with existing Ute Gear that is Black, if we need to go to another color.  I’d vote for a blackout before a white out.

As for crowd identification, it should not matter if both teams are wearing read – Utes will be standing much loader than OSU fans, both from a numbers and an enthusiam perspective.  Everyone in the stadium will know which fanbase is in the majority.

On this subject, and forgive me if this has already been discussed…  Is the Book Store ordering Rose Bowl specific clothing, and if so, when will they have it, and will it be red only, or is there a white option?

Hard to argue what would happen today because it already happened.

      My response…

I agree wholeheartedly.  It does not matter what might happen if any of these games were played today, they will not be.  They happened and the results are known.  Nothing else matters.

We lost to BYU, breaking a nine game streak, and OSU lost to Oregon, and to Michigan, breaking a similar streak.  Those are the facts.
