Selfishly, I’ve hoped they all came to the conclusion they need to immortalize 22 by getting into the CFP BEFORE it goes to 12 teams.
They obviously don’t need to do more, but if they somehow decided that, which means Rising returns in my opinion, I wouldn’t complain. I bet that would also make it pretty hard for the AZ transfer WR to not come…[Read more]

I think most of the time, I read something like this and I think, “OK, Yeah. We’ll see.” I half expect them to be the prospect that Utah informs, “Hey, we think you have a lot of talent, you can definitely start somewhere. That place is not here, however. You would not get playing time here, we have too much other talent at your position and we…[Read more]

Mahomes didn’t really win anything in college, I think it was easy for Andy Reid to point out what he needed to improve to take the next steps. We should all probably how Williams doesn’t get a little humility from his losses to Utah. If he looks at it like, “I won the Heisman and we still weren’t in the playoff” and actually tries to address his…[Read more]

Selfishly, I want him to come back, which I think would convince a few others to return too. I must also admit my main reason is I think we would have a very good shot at running it back and making the playoff. I don’t think the D starts slow like it did this year maybe even picks up right where it’s leaving off, and most of the key contributors…[Read more]

They talked all year about how they ended the year with an L. They are going to want to add to their legacy as the first Utah team to win the Rose Bowl. Time will tell, but I don’t see any of those guys opting out if completely healthy, though I wouldn’t hold it against of them either. That wouldn’t seem to fit their character though.

At some point, you would think we would just submit to the evidence in front of us, but that’s easier said than done. I think we all hedge against the potential that it all comes crashing to a halt to a degree, and it guards us against a let down. I completely agree on the reload though. 1. We are still a very young team and numerous underclassmen…[Read more]

I understand why guys would declare for the draft. Stock can’t get much higher than being a back to back champion with both being resounding victories over the “top dogs” the pac-12. However, I couldn’t help but look at what could be returning and think even more is achievable next year. No doubt we’ll lose some key pieces on D, but a lot of young…[Read more]

Imagine if you could go back to 2002 and tell yourself, “In 20 years, the U will be ranked #10 as a two loss team, and the lone blemish on the resume of 9-1 USC is a loss to Utah,” I don’t know if I would believe it. Maybe after 2004, but not in 2002. And to it, “… loss to Utah, the defending PAC-12 champion.” and my mind would explode. Love…[Read more]

And can we all agree that the UCLA and USC games look very different if we have this Tavion for those games? I can’t even put words to how happy it makes me to see this.

When we typically see the degree of control and dominance the defense is showing right now, I feel like there always comes a huge play by one of our best defenders. Pick six by LLoyd, pick six by CPIII, pick six by JJ. I’m fully expecting something ridiculous and my money is on Bishop or Diabate with how their playing.

I have no idea what to make of the video concept, was that a UFC disguised as a uni reveal. I begrudgingly admit as one of a handful of Ute fans in a sea of cougs within my family, that might be the best uni combo I’ve ever seen for them, but I’m a sucker for dark mode combos.
