LPJ biggest problem was after 3 years in the program he was still only 165lbs. He just couldn’t gain the weight and strength necessary to compete at this level.

Because there are only 85 scholarships available and Utah currently has 8-10 underclassmen G or C on the roster. That way I don’t think it’s a position of need especially for a Looong term project.

If I had to venture a guess I’d say interior OL is not a need in this class. Sometimes it’s just a matter of timing when it comes to offering certain players scholarships.

If the defender runs up on him he can dribble around and pull up which looks like the best part of his game.

Then his ability to get to the rim.

He has a college ready body and is very athletic which the current team lacks in spades.

Injuries and Illnesses have derailed the season. Carlson the teams best player is out for another week at least. The teams best athlete Hoyt is out for the season. The teams best rebounder Anthony has missed multiple games.

If those three were healthy all season the teams W/L record would be considerably different.

Defense rebounding and not turning the ball over are all about effort and hustle. I would expect at least that much from a talent poor team but we are not.

If he doesn’t change positions and is dead set on playing QB it won’t be at Utah and he will enter the portal.

He could play just about anywhere. RB, TE, WR, LB or bulk up to DE
