I think you need wins over Stanford, Cal, OSU and one win in the Pac12 tournament

That would be 20-13 and get Utah an at-large bid.

Some speculation online that Smith will be fired if the Utes miss the Big Dance.

Utah can’t afford to fire Smith after just 3 seasons.

He’s more than likely gonna get 2 more unless the team completely falls apart next season and they only win 10 games or something.

This was a senior experienced team and they have completely underperformed. Not sure what’s gonna happen next season when this team has 6-8 new players on it.

If someone needs to wear the black hat in the new big12 it might as well be Utah.

I’ve never understood the Zoobs fascination to be liked by everyone. It seems kind of weird in a creepy insecure kind of way.

Harlan went rouge and hired his guy(Smith)when he could’ve had Alex Jensen or Jonnie Bryant both whom would have been better.

A week ago Utah was all but guaranteed an ncaa tournament bid. A week later it’s all but gone.

I was told that the terms of his probation is pretty extensive and he might have difficulty meeting those terms.

The last thing Utah needs is him violating those terms and having him arrested mid season.

Just best to move on. Some other team that hasn’t had the gun violence Utah has will take him.

Those early season march games in slc will be cold.
