No one truly knows on that except the people who played. Frightening situation to relive again.

Certainly concerning. Utah on the road is even more frightening.

Last year was a brawl for a reason Utah didn’t have a play caller on offense.
I am not too worried about the offense. In fact I see a relatively high scoring game. Utah’s defense hasn’t shown me anything but the cliche can’t contain running QBs.

Well yeah that goes without saying. It is why in my last paragraph is said they should be forced to play a semi professional schedule.

EagleMountainUte replied to the topic Just My Thoughts… in the forum Football 5 months, 1 week ago
Sorry those are meant to be two different thoughts. I don’t assign much value to an opponent that doesn’t adequately assess a top 12 team. You can’t really see what is really going on.
Separate thought: Losing a player at a position of great need. Especially when Utah went to the first Rose Bowl the corner back depth was the biggest area that…[Read more]

Having expectations of winning a road game isn’t HIGH and lofty.

@Utah Love you man but what are you talking about?
The AD, University can only control what they can control and they have shit the bed with a once great program.
Donovan Mitchell has nothing to do with it.
I wonder who funds USU?
I mean put the blame where it needs to be Harlan.

It is bad luck. Hayward was injured freakishly his first season with the Celtics.
Seeing a guy you liked get hurt isn’t Karma though. It is just wishful thinking from a spiteful fan base.

I have not heard this as an issue being discussed other than by yourself. Is it an academic point of interest I understand your topic.
Most people are looking at the DA pleading down an egregious criminal to where he will be let go someday.
I am not discussing the issues of incarceration reform. I am speaking of corrupt DA’s across the nation c…[Read more] -

Yeah. You can get away with that sort of in college. I mean he got injured a little. In the NFL you be dead.

EagleMountainUte replied to the topic Colorado RB in the forum Football 9 months, 2 weeks ago
I don’t necessarily agree he is part of the problem. The buck stops with the coaching. It was stupid for Coach Prime to assume a bunch of small ass lineman can run the scheme. I guess if part you mean he was on the team with the most sacked qb.

Bryson Barnes took his spot? I mean that is one way of looking at it. You can say Utah needs to take what it can get. I do think the Coaches can do better.

It is unreasonable to blame this entirely on NLI.
Utah basketball as a program has been mishandled for some time. It is the only thing that can be controlled and it is poorly managed.

EagleMountainUte replied to the topic Utah as a B1G expansion target in the forum Misc 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Utah is eating the Big12 cake and faces zero consequences if they leave for Big10 cake. That isn’t saying it is a done deal because anything can happen.
-
EagleMountainUte replied to the topic Utah as a B1G expansion target in the forum Misc 9 months, 3 weeks ago
The way Utah structured the deal to join the Big12 is absolutely to leave if offered a better deal.
Even in comparison to Oregon and fUCLA deals to join the big10. It is so obvious Utah is playing the long game to leave potentially. It comes down to media markets. Utah has one of the larger ones to negotiate with. -
EagleMountainUte replied to the topic Now spring practice is over – what do you think… in the forum Football 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Well lots of what ifs and stipulations. Regardless Utah coaches have a job to do and they need to bring in a transfer.
I am actually surprised Rose is sticking around. I watched a break down of the offense when he was out there. It was less than ideal. Most of the plays would have been sacks. Which isn’t entirely on him. Probably one was h…[Read more]

Well Miami said he didn’t want to rehash the argument. My problem is people use a different set of facts to frame it as “trust the coaches”. Or Rising wasn’t that bad and he could have handled it better.
Don’t cherry pick facts to fit a narrative.
