Simpkins wasn’t lined up on the LOS either and motioned into the backfield.
I think what he is saying is Fotheringham wasn’t set before Huntley motioned for Simpkins to move. So the flag is still on Fotheringham because he was the first to move? I am reading the rule and I still don’t think it was illegal shift.

For 2019 Utah needed to prove a lot. They needed to beat SC in the Coliseum which they didn’t. They needed to beat Wazzu because they were on a losing streak. They just did. Came to the realization that the defensive game plan Utah used against Wazzu no way it works against SC. There is no way Anae or Tafua cover Pittman.

The defensive plan was to not get to the QB it was to confuse Gordon with coverages. Anae and Tafua would play corner. Hell I think I saw Penisini running around in a zone look which didn’t work that time. Gordon releases the ball so quickly so they never really wanted to hit Gordon. Should be interesting going forward. I hope the NCAA is disbanded. I guess it doesn’t start until 2023. It prohibits an organization based in Indiana from punishing athletes. I expect legal challenges obviously.

After all that build up and hype before the SC game I didn’t listen to anything all week. Obviously it doesn’t affect the outcome of the game. But hey try something new. Instead I listened to Post Malone all week. Speaking of his new music video anyone recognize the canyon??
