The Miami Ute started the topic All the Pressure in on USC – Can Utah Take Advantage? in the forum Football 1 year, 4 months ago
Over the last couple of days, I’ve been going on a tour of all major USC affiliated websites and YouTube channels to try to get a sense of how they feel about this game.
It’s been an interesting journey and really shows the difference between USC/Utah and even probably LA/SLC.
Bottom line up front, this game has almost taken an Armageddon-like…[Read more]

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Concerns for tomorrow in the forum Football 1 year, 4 months ago
I think Utah is going to do OK tomorrow. The Utes might lose, but I doubt USC runs away with the game. It’s an old saying that defense and a run game travels and the Utes have at least one of those in spades.
I’ve watched almost the entirety of USC’s schedule and they just don’t impress me, at all. Yes, Williams is a great QB but, if he was…[Read more]

Yeap, it certainly looks to be more cheaply made. Especially when you compare it to brands like Adidas or Nike.

But since he needs surgery after his senior season of high school ball and isn’t expected to be ready to go early in Spring Ball, the plan for Wilson is to redshirt his first year.
Where is this information coming from? Do you have a source? I haven’t been able to find anything, anywhere that confirms that Wilson is going to need offseason s…[Read more]

Cam also got into the act and refuted that tweet with one of his own:
Of course, we now know that she was telling the truth.

I remember that tweet from Football Babe. She got crucified for it. Here it is:

Well, what about Trey Lance? At least Wentz was a legitimate NFL QB and was on his way to an MVP season when he got hurt. Lance was the #3 pick in the 2021 draft also from North Dakota State, only played the 2020 college football season, and has to be up there with guys like Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell as one of the biggest draft busts ever.

1. Utah quarterback Cam Rising doesn’t set foot on the field this season due to a prolonged recovery from knee surgery. But in their ongoing attempt to keep opponents guessing, the Utes release blurry drone footage of what appears to be Rising in full uniform, working with the first team. Closer inspection reveals it’s actually 305-pound bac…

I recently bought a pair of UA Utah branded shoes because I got a great deal on them. They’re okay but can’t compare to the Adidas Ultraboost shoes I normally wear. In my view, Utah can’t leave UA soon enough. That brand just doesn’t do anything for me.

I have basketball season tickets so I guess I’m the third man. Uniforms are just OK in my view. I personally like the throwbacks best.

You’re so right. There’s a huge difference in atmosphere between day and night games. Even with the late hours getting home, I much prefer going to night games.

Come on Rusty…it’s isn’t like Glover hasn’t gotten plenty of opportunities this season to excel and provide some complementary offensive support to the team. Compare Glover, a natural RB, with JJ and Vaki, converted RBs, who have played with the same QBs. Where has the production been? Glover is completely undependable and another version of…[Read more]

The impression I get from Ludwig, and I could be wrong obviously, is that he’s got a personality that radiates the same amount of warmth as a ransom note. I just don’t see him as they type of guy who can walk into a recruit’s house and get him excited about the project. I think he provides a list of capabilities he want to have for any future…[Read more]
