  • And the Texas Tech mouthpiece, Chris Level, was sympathetic towards Utah with regards to the game versus BYU. He said he was numb to bad officiating in the conference and was calling it the Rigged 12. I found that kind of funny. He said that the refs missed at least three facemasks and a couple of fumbles in their game last week versus…[Read more]

McMillan is having a monster season (already gone for well over 1000 yards receiving) and is easily going to be a Top 15 pick in next year’s NFL Draft. Just goes to show that one superstar can’t carry a team.

Dino Babers was so good at Eastern Illinois and Bowling Green…you’d think that once a coach failed at a higher-level program, he’d realize he was better off in G-5 land.

I believe that he’s a RS Sophomore, so at least two seasons after this one if I’m correct. That being said, the Utah game excepted, he’s having a relatively rough season, throwing for almost as many INTs as TDs. Last year, he threw for 25 TDs with 6 INTs. So far this year, he’s thrown for only 13 TDs with 10 INTs. In addition, his completion…[Read more]

LOL…maybe we can offer him after this offseason and have him be our superhero.

  • You make a valid point, if that’s the way that Sanders wants to play it. I don’t know him personally but I know people that do, going back to when he was a high schooler in North Fort Myers, and I just have a hard time believing that Colorado is anything but a stepping stone. I also feel that he would probably be a lot more comfortable in the…[Read more]

  • Thanks for posting this…still think it’s a ticky-tack, BS call…

  • Who knows, that might be this weekend’s game…I’m sure the players are really tired of hearing of how wonderful Colorado is, about their triumphal march to the CCG and the CFP, and Travis Henry’s Heisman Trophy winning season.

I don’t know about that…Arizona’s only other victories this season are home victories versus New Mexico and Northern Arizona (which was a closer games than the Utah vs Arizona game). And, I sincerely doubt that any team will put up 56 points against Utah like UCF did last weekend. My view is that they were extremely fortunate versus Utah…[Read more]

  • Who do you think can get the best recruits to the State of Alabama, African-American, Native Floridian, College and Pro Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders or South Dakota-born, small-town Kalen DeBoer? The thing about college football right now is that there aren’t any rules or guard-rails and a team’s fortunes can change, as we’ve seen conclusively,…[Read more]

  • Well, I think I’ll have to break out my santeria/voodoo magic on the Utes’ behalf. Eagle knows what I’m talking about…he saw it happen in 2022…

Arizona hasn’t won a game since they beat Utah at RES 23-10. They’re 3-6 and in a five-game tailspin. Upper-level tickets at Arizona Stadium in Tucson are selling on the secondary market for $2. The Wildcats surrendered 56 points in their last game vs. UCF. Last season’s success under Jedd Fisch seems like a long ago dream. We’re not the only…[Read more]

  • The reason I ask is because, since its first loss, Utah has been losing games by an ever closer margin.

    Arizona – 13 points
    ASU – 8 points
    TCU – 6 points
    Houston – 3 points
    BYU – 1 point

Who knows, maybe this is the weekend that Utah gets on the positive side of the ledger. I have to think that the players and coaching staff have a lot of…[Read more]

  • To that I’ll say this…all Deion has done in his head coaching career is take on total rebuilds. Jackson State was a total rebuild and so was Colorado. Neither one of those schools has anywhere near the amount of resources that an Auburn or Arkansas has…and if Deion can draw top level recruits to Jackson State and Colorado, it’s hard to see…[Read more]

Oh, if you’ve been reading my posts you’ll know that I’m all for leaving the Big 12 and joining a reconstructed PAC. However, I’m pretty certain that the university’s administration and the athletic staff don’t feel the same way. So, no matter how we feel about the situation, it looks to me like we’ll be in the Big 12 until the next big round of…[Read more]

Utah going to the ACC is a complete nonstarter, unless the university is willing to play for free. Check the below out and tell me if you’d sign up for that deal:

    SMU
SMU will not receive any TV money for the first nine years in the ACC. The school’s boosters are expected to cover the shortfall. SMU raised $100 million from its First Week…[Read more]

  • I mentioned something similar earlier before hearing the rumors about him going to the Cowboys. Conservatively speaking, there are going to be four or five head coach positions coming open this off-season in the SEC. If I’m one of those teams, I go hard after Sanders so that I can get the recruits and be on national television every weekend.

  • This is the most well known “secret” in sports. Deion has just about finished drinking his cup of coffee with Colorado. When he leaves, all the players leave, and Colorado comes back down to reality.
