You think Rose knows the playbook three years into the program? Wasn’t that the reason he didn’t get any playing time last season, at least according to Whitt?

I gave them an “F”. Utah once again failed when it mattered most in front of a national audience. They made questionable decisions of offense, failed to execute necessary in-game adjustments. and got thoroughly outcoached on both sides of the ball. Whitt probably had to drink a six-pack of Michelob before going to sleep this morning.

Absolutely…it basically means that Utah, and the rest of its Big XII compatriots, have zero chance of ever winning a national title.

Well, you’re not wrong. The situation is counter-intuitive to a lot of people.

Our punt returns STINK this season. Very seldom do we seem to make positive yardage.

I’ve been saying the same thing since the second game. A traffic cone could do a better job than Pittman. At least you wouldn’t have to worry about losing yards on a return.

Even with Cam coming back, I wouldn’t be launching any celebratory rockets in the air. Unless Rising gets back on the field, this could be a historically bad season for Utah given the expectations before the season started. I’m just of the mind that you can’t win consistently with a true freshman QB playing extended minutes.

Sounds like the natives are really getting restless due to this situation. Maybe I’m off the mark and affected with recency bias but the way the QB position has been handled the last two seasons could end up tarnishing both Whitt’s and Rising’s legacies.

Could be a long season. Obviously our future opponents are going to look at this film and try to imitate the result. Rising needs to get back on the field ASAP or this season is over for all intenta and purposes.
