Hats off to the nine contestants who went 7-3 last week in the weekly football pick em contest. I’m trying to pick some extra “interesting” games to mix it up. We went to the Predict the Score contest as a tiebreaker and gothamute came out on top. gothamute wins an awesome Ute blanket from Minky Couture!

We were 5.5 point dogs and the line went down to about 3 in the days before the game.  Some big money was bet on Utah. They won. $$$$$

Seeing some predictions that we will win or lose.  What are your keys to the game?  Here are 2-3 of mine:
Defensively a big key will be how we handle their huge tight ends and receivers.  Sounds Like love is either out or hurt, but they can still be very dangerous running.  How we handle their power run will be huge.

IT’S GAMEDAY!  GO UTES!

Before the season started I had us losing to Washington, beating Washington State, and losing at Stanford.  1-2 in the Pac-12 after this week. Maybe we can beat Stanford today and my prediction record-wise would still be there.  If not, I’d only be one game off, with a much easier string of games coming up.

It’s not over yet (35-13 currently), but watching byu tonight makes me confident in our final game matchup. byu’s defense cannot tackle. And the only way their offense moves the ball is by lobbing up deep balls and letting Utah State PI them.
