I have close personal friends who graduated from UW in engineering. Very good folks and do not fit the mold. That said I am glad we are in the south, dealing with mutt fans every year would be a very tough thing to do.

CU lost to Meatchikun and that was versus a stout D. Yes the Buffs were in the game up to the end of the second quarter but much of that was due to Meatchikun turn overs and errors.

CU is much improved and the game will be tough. Still like our chances

Iowa St was at home versus SJSU. We played our first road game. Traveling makes a difference.

I donate to the Crimson Club and to the business school as well. I usually wait for a bschool call such as yours to donate. That way the call is somewhat fun.

A portion of my work involves calling/cold calling so I do have a soft spot for it. I know many of the calls end as yours did and understand how you feel.

I agree with the notion that Utah’s reputation in the PAC will grow over time and with winning. We still have not had a winning record in football versus the South teams in a season. That needs to change.

We are still behind in many of the non-revenue sports although baseball and softball have improved big time.

We barely sold a small portion of the last turf and that field had both 2004 and 2008 teams play on it. I want to say the bookstore had pieces of turf for almost a year after they initially placed the boxed items on sale.

USC’s D did not look like it did the past few years. Losing Leonard Williams hurt U$C more than I first thought. I have similar visceral concerns on Utah losing Orchard and our lack of subsequent pressure although Fitts had a monster game versus Fresneck and was disruptive to put things mildly (2 blocks, fumble for TD, etc.)
