If we get defensive turnover we’ll score 20 on them.

There is no way that WSU and OSU keep the assets they haven’t earned. The assets owned by PAC-12 belong to 12 schools (including USC and UCLA). I don’t know the legal elements behind but I just don’t see OSU and WSU coming on top. Too much money on the table.

bombastic replied to the topic How can Utah build a program like this but CU can't? in the forum Football 2 years, 10 months ago
This one was funny
Utah has the Mormon church pull from around the word specifically the Polynesian population. They are a lot bigger than anything Colorado can do.

I don’t like it. Inside the locker room, they can say or believe whatever they want.
To the outsiders, they have to have the “next game” mentality.
He made a similar quote before USC game.

bombastic replied to the topic California's law to allow players to pick up sponsorships, a few questions. in the forum Football 5 years, 1 month ago
I am not sure what does this even mean. Under the current system you can’t get paid because the school is subject to NCAA regulation in which case the school might get penalized. If you take money, to my understanding, you are not breaking the law by getting compensated but rather you are breaking the NCAA rules. The extent that this will have any…[Read more]

Never heard of this kid before. But he is not one dimensional at all. He has great weight on and good speed. Plus he cuts like crazy (see below the first run)
If he is a good passer we are golden

I would say chances are he is not a good coach than he is one.
He has one good year with really good qb and good oc with s***y schedule. One tough game he had he lost it.

This doesn’t make sense. There is no arrangement where you get fired but stay in your role until the season ends.
Him staying in such circumstances could do great damage to the program. No AD will let you do that.
Maybe he is moving on by the end of the season for another job? I could believe that.

bombastic replied to the topic Hans Olsen take on the game was interesting. in the forum Football 6 years ago
If you listen to Hans Olsen you would know that he has an ax to grind with Troy Taylor. When we were clicking on all cylinders and blowing other teams off, if you were to believe Hans it was Harding running the offense and not Troy Taylor.
I actually like Hans and his analyses. He is actually one of the few that knows what he talking about. But…[Read more]

Any news on Daniels front? Did you get chance to catch up with the person close to his family as you did the other day?

bombastic replied to the topic So we're pulling for Arizona tonight… right? in the forum Football 6 years ago
Given where we are at and how we got here, 7-5 would be a disappointment even if we (somehow) get to the championship. That means we lose 3 out 4?! I really hope we don’t finish like that.

bombastic replied to the topic So we're pulling for Arizona tonight… right? in the forum Football 6 years ago
At some point, we got to win. We got a break last week and we don’t need to be perfect anymore. But I really hope we get into the Pac12 championship with at the worst 9-3.
Personally, 8-4 and pac12 championship would not feel right to me. 8-4 and pac12 championship game would speak more to the weakness of the south than our own merits. My 2 cents.

The impact is that you can’t have a QB injury so Huntley must take care of himself. It might even affect the playcalling to avoid the contact.

If BT comes back in two weeks he’ll play the rest of the season and still be able to redshirt (which is a great news).
I truly believe that passing game will become a strength when BT comes back. He is the big talented receiver that we are missing this year. His absence was huge.
I love new redshirt rule. You get a boost in the arm while not…[Read more]

Oregon last year has shown that their run game is better than our run defense. Schematically they could be doing something that makes our run defense ineffective.

I love Huntley. My only thing with him is that he doesn’t know how to slide. Literally. Just watch in camp highlights or last year film. It’s always wierd looking slide with his head first.

They measured him his freshman year. He was sub 4.4. That was fastest on the team.
