Well, what a game. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the first half. I thought our offense was amazing and the defense was incredible. The points that BYU scored in the first half were gifts to them. One was off a terrible decision by Alford and the other was a bad decision to kick it to a great returner.

This year has made me stop caring about the games – I am watching still but with little to no emotion. I have begun planning for the worst and have become less disappointed and almost detached.

It’s time for a reset –

Reset expectations that is – The hype had us believing playoffs or bust and I think that is why I have been so disappointed for the last two weeks.

What I learned last night is that it is time for me at least to revise my expectations – I think at this point what will make me more content this season is watching us build…[Read more]

Questionable decisions all night –

1. Playing a QB who can’t move
2. Not taking points in a very close game multiple times
3. Not using timeouts to avoid a penalty
4. Having a run defense that sucks
5. Etc
6. Etc
