They could come out swinging like a caged animal or be completely spent and demoralized. My guess is they will latch on to any hope we give them. We need to hit them in the mouth early and I think they will fold quick.

That is why I just can’t see them going beyond the Elite 8. They are not a complete team, and the Bouche injury makes them even more limited.

They are making the PAC12 look horrible. Silver lining might be that faliure on the big stage hurts their recruiting, but I don’t know if we have any recruits we are competing for.

Remember that early game where Moss, McCormick and Shyne all got significant touches and yards? Holding Oregon to 30 was among the lowest scoring games they have had. Yet our offense can only manage a similar score to UC Davis? Every other Pac12 team, save ASU’s 35, was in the 40’s & 50’s.
If Cal’s horrible Defense gives up 31 points to Hawaii and you can only manage 23? Every other PAC12 team put up 40+ pts.
