I hope the PAC can hang together.  25-35 per school should be obtainable and enough for all conference teams.  However, game attendance needs to improve for that number to improve during the next round.

Yep. Pac just pulls in the best of the MWC and lives on.

UU total budget is ~$5B/yr. 1.0% of that is $50M/yr.

I don’t think UU (or any current PAC school) is going to leave the perceived prestige of the PAC to chase <1% of their total budget.

ADs might. But school presidents won’t do it.  They will follow the Ivy League model if necessary.

West coast schools, presidents, fans just don’t care enough about football.

What is UU total budget? Total athletic department budget?

How do you feel about the PAC trending toward an ivy league west?  Deemphasizing sports and concentrating on academics?

Nebraska is not in the big12.

So do you hope usc returns to national prominence or not? A or B

      A) utes dominate current pac12.

      B) USC dominates pac12 and achieves national prominance.

Both utes and cougs got beat by MWC teams. No?  So a little humility may be appropriate for both schools.
