Actually makes sense. In practice they will not run the same play both ways. They get the flow down and don’t change for any given play. A shotgun snap is much more friendly to hurt fingers.

I would advocate for coaching with class. The problem is HS and little league coaches watch to imitate, but at those levels it gets much more difficult to control. I think we have enough on offense with either QB to get past Az., I think the key task this weekend falls to the defense.

The reason would be a long season. Our best chance to get into the playoffs and win a game are a function of healthy depth without much drop-off. Fano and Van stay most healthy with rotation. I hope not and sorry I harp on this. But a defense stacking the box and blitzing the QB can be defeated by something other than a workmanlike effort letting them dictate to us and putting unnecessary wear and tear on the defense. I agree. There are and have been good WR blockers. However, Singer has a great ability to block far down field and block out of his route because of great speed. The difference between USU Barnes vs USC and UofU Barnes vs USC is simply Utah. Utah will have a comfortable win either way. For this game I think either QB will get it done without drama. Rising’s finger should be ready to go but they will plan some rest for it. Wilson will be better prepared with increased practice reps in his world.
