You may not realize that last year, Smith’s first without a chance to recruit, Utah was third in the Pac 12 in attendance for men’s BB. College basketball attendance is down almost everywhere. Not many schools anywhere can catch UofA.

In the 70s I remember as students standing in line for half a day to get a good seat at the Special Events Center. In the 80s and 90s there was a waiting list for a handful of lower bowl seats that came available each year and league games sold out early in the day. That has completely changed.
