Can someone repeat which side of the stadium is the southern division champ seated? Is there a list of Utah activities?

Is there any reason left that anyone would look at the SL Trib for sports? Or for that matter, is there any reason to read it at all anymore? It was my local paper for decades, now I find it useless.

Love Devin but Oregon’s Sewell is his equal. He was at the end of so many of our plays all over the field. However, Devin gets the defensive POY.

Play the 2s and 3s a lot and don’t make them wait for a big lead.

I hope PK’s end is near and is imminent. PK should also admit he doesn’t know anything… about anything.

No matter how many time it has happened before it is very shocking to many. No matter how many possible causes, many will feel there is no excuse. As long as it happens again, there is not a powerful solution yet.

Unbelievable in any decade.

We take football games one at a time. Like they say in pool ‘Common sense over Combinations’. We need to win each game, one at a time. Everyone else can worry about themselves, the Pac 12 conference included. Next, improve our head to head with Oregon and fine if we get to do it twice.

Goodness, has he had like one winning season as a HC? I would think smart money would like to see he have a second or third winning season to be considered for bigger money. They could be quite disappointed if he has only a few winning seasons. Can he keep it going after losing a few key players?

With all the worries Oregon presents, there have been several other teams in the league, not better than us, take Oregon to a close game in the 4th Qtr. We also need to make it a game in the 4th and let Oregon worry equally about what Utah can do to them.

I appreciate coach reading the prepared answers to groomed questions. It reminded me of a prepared press meetings by a politician. The answers have the color and flow that just is not off the top of the head. Either way, we know how he and his staff feels about selected topics.

I think we will get a different Oregon than others have the last few weeks. This week is the biggest game in the second half of the season before the CCG. I think they expect to play us twice and have spent extra time on our game plan. I think we will see the best effort from their players. To some extent the same applies to Utah. Still,…[Read more]

I wish the Jazz would have picked him up, my personal interest. Hopefully the owner would not prefer Jimmer over Kuz.

I think Whitt will spend more time with the punt team this week and make it a priority. There may be changes in the linemen who didn’t block. If necessary, and sad it may be necessary, OL starters may be used. They are not spun up to tackle so that would make high kicks necessary to force a fair catch. I expect midfield punts to be done by…[Read more]

Carlson will often give us sneaky great moves in the lane and will block shots. He is a good shooter. Consistency is his next thing but maybe he lets the game come to him. He did grab some rebounds but then got it poked or taken away, this game may be a learning experience. He is so thin he can’t project an imposing figure. He must have been…[Read more]

I wish so much Carlson would add some bulk, I think he should be checked for worms. He did play better in the second half.
Rebounding needs to get better, we are missing the size from last years lineup.
Hopefully we develop the outside shooting, especially in transition, that we had last year. However, this Texas team had a great number of…[Read more]
