  • I thought Iowa State’s QB was in the portal, possibly following his father somewhere?

  • Dampier, no question. He has run Becks system as a starter and has clearly shown the ability to make decisions quickly. I’ve watched several New Mexico highlight games over the past few days, Dampier is decisive in what ever choice he is making in the RPO. Does his passing need to improve, yes, but as a total package Dampier is way ahead of…[Read more]

  • Well, he will help with QB depth and hopefully at this point he will get a chance to actually learn the system before getting thrown out as the starting QB in the third game of the season. Here’s hoping that any playing time he gets in the future he is both prepared for as well as earned. Now knowing that his options are limited unless he vastly…[Read more]

Honestly I think this is the reality of the situation. I wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see him back after renewed negotiations. It also wouldn’t surprise me to see him somewhere else, BYU or otherwise.

  • Wow, some legislator has waaaaaay too much free time on their hands.

Honestly I don’t think the NIL wild west will continue mainly because it’s going to start impacting the big dogs. Do you think that Alabama’s donors and collective are happy this year with what they paid vs where the team currently sits? As soon as a few more Blue Bloods feel the pain of underachieving while over paying, changes will be forced…[Read more]

  • If he has a higher market value somewhere else, the U and the collective need to figure out if they are willing to match it or let him walk. Maybe they don’t even need to match it to get him to stay, they just need to offer more than they currently are and he may see a reason to stay if he thinks he will get better coaching or a better shot at…[Read more]

  • Honestly, with a change in OC and overall what type of offense we run, I actually have some hope that the defense won’t get hung out to dry for multiple games in 2025. Who knows what players are going to be running the offense at this point, but I at least feel good about making changes and doing something different. Maybe a 5 – 7 season has…[Read more]

  • Oregon’s QB makes decisions so fast that it negates most of the pressure that the Penn State D is trying to bring. I’m actually surprised that the Penn State offense is as good as it is as well. Pretty good game so far. Better offensive production than the SEC championship game.

  • So true! After the second season of who’s going to be the QB because everything was put in to the Rising basket, all while being told that this team has the most talent we have ever had, how can fans not feel like we are being gas lit? The silence around Whit’s retirement decision and the OC situation is only adding further fuel to the gas…[Read more]

  • I remember being frustrated with the offensive output in the last few seasons of McBride’s tenure. I can’t help but think that the last two years post Rising is feeling a lot like the last few years of McBride. A team with a lot of talent and potential that can’t seem to put it together on a consistent basis on offense.

It seems like a new OC…[Read more]

Dude is fast and would be great on receiver sweeps. Probably a good choice for a slot receiver position if he does want to come back.

  • Setting aside Cam coming back or not, I hope that someone in the medical field has a serious talk with him about how the injuries he has sustained playing football may impact his physical health the rest of his life.

  • Who knows what the real reasons are for playing Wilson when he clearly is not ready and needs more development, especially considering he has had some sort of injury (before the ISU game). When both Rose and Bottari can step in and the offense works, obviously something has gone wrong in the evaluation of the ability to make the offense go.…[Read more]

  • When either Rose or Bottari can step in to a game and execute a serviceable offense, something is clearly wrong on the coaching front. Letting Rising play the whole game on a season ending injury, keeping IW as your starting QB when we can barely get in to double digits on the scoreboard for multiple games?

Whitt needs to look in the mirror and…[Read more]

  • ??? Who knows. Maybe the offensive staff turned over enough rocks this week and enough things crawled out to patch an offense together that can score points. I’m not holding my breath though.

  • Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic THE NEW PLAN! in the forum Football 1 month ago

Not only was the QB situation mishandled, but over those 20 years the offense has been as well. From a constant churn of offense coordinators to moving your best talent from offense to defense, the offensive side of the equation has always been overlooked by Whitt.

His solution was to bring back Ludwig whose offensive scheme is so complex it…[Read more]

  • Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Kickoff Strategy in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago

What do the analytics say about fielding a competent offense? Apparently Whit doesn’t pay attention to that information. Take away the kickoff returned for a touchdown and we win that game even with the second half offensive turtle mode.

I don’t think our special team kick coverage is good enough to risk the potential big return on short kicks.…[Read more]

  • Mine is directly after the shut off valve for the main water into the house. So waterline comes in from outside – shut off valve – pressure reducing valve. It’s there because it was the most convenient place to get access to it, so that is where we chose to install it. When I moved into the house the pressure reducing valve was up in the…[Read more]

  • Tony, it’s likely you have a bad pressure reducing valve. I had the same issue a few months back, terrible hammering noises and pipes shaking. The part itself is about $280 (at least to replace what I had with the same thing). My dad was a plumber (long since retired) so luckily I have a certain amount of knowledge as well as access to tools if…[Read more]
