    Not me.

BYU won a title looking the other way with the honor code and pumping their athletes full of narcotics. Not one BYU fan cares.

It’s sad, but it is what it is. Just win baby.

  • I think they did a good job. I think putting Arizona and OSU back to back is the only remotely hard thing about this schedule.

Whitt’s last year, first year in the Big 12, Cam Rising…

Anything less than 10 wins will be a disappointment.

  • Every year it’s the same. Who at BYU starts at Utah? 1-2 OL, maybe a WR (in year’s past, I’m not sure about this year) and maybe a LB (again, in years past. I don’t think a BYU LB starts at Utah this year). That’s it.

It’s no contest. Hell, I don’t think a BYU QB makes Utah’s roster this year.

  • lol. No. The state of California, which economically is a powerhouse and in a lot of ways carries this country, did not cause the downfall of the PAC-12.

If California would break off from the USA, it would be the fourth most powerful country in the world. As much as some like to hold California up as the bad guy, they do a lot of things right.…[Read more]

  • Penix threw for 1332 yards out of conference. I’d love it if Whitt allowed Rising to throw for that, but I’m not sure he will. The only time Rising threw for more than 300 yards in 2022 was vs USC, and he did it both times we played them…so I don’t know what to make of that.

Let’s say Rising throws for 300 yards per game his first three games.…[Read more]

I can’t believe that Utah and Arizona were both 7-3. That is wild. With how much everyone is talking about how great Arizona will be this fall…

Also, those were two wildly different 7-3 teams…

  • MV3 and Sheer are the biggest hacks out there that people actually listen to. They are both keyboard warriors doing whatever they can to get people to talk about them.

  • I’ll never fault a man for getting paid.

  • It’s funny how a certain segment of Utah fans can’t handle an opinion different than yours.

If you don’t like what I say, scroll past it. Maybe re-eval your beliefs and why my comments would cause you distress and see if there is any cognitive dissonance going on.

BYU’s leader doesn’t believe in evolution. He believes that he can heal people…[Read more]

  • Yeah, it is very weird wording. Seems super suss. Carefully worded denials and stuff like that. Shady.

  • Jayden Daniels last year:

    3800 yards, 50 total TD’s, 4 INT’s.

    Rising’s best year:

    3000 yards, 32 Td’s, 8 INT’s.

Whitt just doesn’t rely on QB’s the way other schools do. Rising would have to really, really, really explode to do so.

Daniels threw for over 300 yards a game. He threw for over 400 yards and 6 TD’s vs a FCS team. Whitt would…[Read more]

  • Weird. Medicine and religion usually don’t mix very well, which is why BYU has stayed out for so long. I’d want to hear more details about this, especially since they are focusing on “international health”. What the fuck does that mean?

I don’t think this affects anything about BYU and sports. BYU is still BYU and the problem BYU has is that…[Read more]

Eh. It’s not that big of a deal. You used to have 85 scholarship players. Now you have 105. That’s 20 more.

Yeah, there are now less walkons. BUT everyone at Alabama will get a scholarship now. Sure, 20 previous walkons won’t be able to go Alabama, but they will still have a scholarship offer somewhere.

This isn’t the horrible story Dabo wa…[Read more]

  • If we played them early in the year I’d be more worried. They have a very good starting 22, but still lack P5 depth. Come Nov they could be a paper tiger.

  • Utah replied to the topic Money, it’s a gas in the forum Football 4 months ago

Yes. You can only have 105 players. No more. You can give them all scholarships or not. It’s up to you. But you can’t have more than 105 players. Total.

Scholarship and walk on combined cannot be more than 105.

  • 1- Big 12 defenses are awful. Iowa St was the Big 12’s best defense and they were ranked something like 44th. The P12 had 4 or 5 teams ranked higher.

2- OSU’s QB is incredibly average. So we can completely stack the box and force their QB to beat us and he hasn’t shown he can.

3- OSU’s pass defense is bad.

I’m much, much, much more worried a…[Read more]

    I’ll say this again:

This is actually good. This limits how many players a team can have. Right now, Nebraska and Georgia have way more players than 105. And ALL are scholarship or equivalent paid players.

They will have to cut those players and get down to 105. Which means those teams will lose talented players they could keep before this r…[Read more]

One of the rules is that there are now a maximum number of players on a team. That’s a good thing.

Also, teams don’t have to give out all 105 (or whatever the number is) of scholarships and I do believe you can do partial scholarships now.

  • Utah replied to the topic Realignment Predictions in the forum Football 4 months ago

I think this is why you won’t see changes until 2030. There is no need for ESPN/FOX to rush anything. Why get stuck with more Vanderbilt’s and BYU’s and Cincinnati’s when you don’t have to?

FSU and Clemson can just stay in the ACC and come 2028/2029 the tv people can figure out who they really want in their conferences.

  • Utah replied to the topic Realignment Predictions in the forum Football 4 months, 1 week ago

There is a close to zero chance FSU and Clemson are leaving their conference to go to a conference with BYU, Houston, Cincinnati, Baylor, etc.

Would we go back to the MWC? Nope. And FSU and Clemson aren’t going to the Big 12.
