Initially, I agree, but in college, the O-Line tends to block more effectively when they have an established running back. They learn to synergize and the timing works well. So I’ve seen a noticeable difference from PAC-12 quarterbacks and quarterbacks from other conferences (Baker Mayfield may be an exception) in the style of play.
