I have faith in Mike Sharavjamts. There are a ton of Mongolians in Salt Lake Valley, and they will show up to cheer him on.

We only won by 31 against a baaaaaad team. I don’t know all the context so I won’t say much beyond that, but that isn’t exactly promising.

That is complete horse shit. The only thing about Whitt that isn’t debatable is his personal character/integrity. I’m not saying he’s perfect, I’m sure he’s come across as an asshole to someone somewhere along the way, but generally speaking, he is a GOOD PERSON.

Just kidding. I don’t really care about the game at this point. I just wanted to point out that if you expected offensive improvement after less than a week of a new OC, that’s on you.
Have a good day everyone! (and by that I mean spend the smallest amount of time possible thinking about the state of Utah football, because otherwise you won’t be…[Read more]

“winning the rose bowl twice” Hate to be that guy, but we lost the Rose Bowl twice.
Otherwise, I agree with you. Like I said in my post, I’m fine with fans wanting him gone after this season, I agree with those fans.
The point of the post was simply to point out that while he may be the reason for offensive struggles, he is also the reason for…[Read more]

We all know some version of this statement has been said on Utehub many times over the years, especially over the last week or two. I would like to point out that this statement applies to more things than simply the tendency our offense has to struggle more than it should.
I would like to point out that he is also the one common denominator when…[Read more]

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Watermark YTD is 28 pts per game in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
I doubt we find 20 pts per game. We have 1 good running back with nothing behind him, 1 decent freshman QB, an inconsistent offensive line… I don’t know. If we would have started the season off like this we could have pulled it off, but not mid season.

his just being nitpicky about your word usage. Pay to play is typically a phrase used for games/events that require you to pay to participate, or require you to pay to actually have a chance to compete (Again, as a player). Pay FOR play, according to BSC8 would mean teams paying players in exchange FOR them playing for BYU.
Its a useless…[Read more]

If the games we were losing were a bunch of unfamiliar matchups, I would agree. We are 1-1 in our games against “new” opponents. We have lost 2 games to former pac teams. This has nothing to do with unfamiliar matchups.

1. “there should have been…”
– You don’t know if there was or wasn’t. For all we know, Whitt was told Rising would make a full recovery. There are only two people who can say anything about this without speculating: Doctoro Numero Uno, and Whitt.2. Again, speculation. you don’t know what Whitt knew and didn’t know. You think you know, but you…[Read more]

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic New OC says we're going to the wishbone and triple option in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
The only way we answer that question is if the offense performs better. If it performs the same or worse, we still don’t know if he was the problem or not (not until next year when our new OC has had time to install things).

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Ludwig's hands tied, compared to prev years (Cam is only half the equation) in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
I don’t think it is intellectually honest to say his hands are tied in this respect. That implies that he didn’t have any control over the matter, and he absolutely did.
He could have gone after a big back in the portal, and he instead went after Woods, who is not big, is not physical, and would not have helped in that regard, even if he wasn’t hurt.

No clue. My father talks with him a couple times a year but they don’t talk football. My guess is yes, but my guess is no better than anyone else’s. We know him as a friend, not a football coach.

He doesn’t hate the fans, he just hates interacting with them. It isn’t the one on one interactions he hates, it is the “elbow rubbing” and such with the donors that he really doesn’t like. He’ll do anything to help out the little guy… but the only things he really cares about relating to his job are the success of his players on and of the…[Read more]

I’ve been thinking about how much fans really know relative to all the information that could potentially be known. Here is what I’ve come up with.
What fans know –
– We know the raw, on-field results of whatever the team is doing.
– We know that some players are injured.
– We know who is employed, what their job titles are, and what they are…[Read more] - Load More
