That may be true, but we don’t know that any more than we did at the end of last season. This game meant very little.

I think it’s too early to make assessments about what we’ll be facing in several weeks. Our defense was doggy doodoo against Florida last year. We ended up being good by the time we played USC.

I’ve personally heard him say BYU and refer to BYU with zero animosity. At this point, he probably avoids saying it in public simply because he knows it makes BYU fans angry.

Blair was great but I did not like the way he “tackled” at all. He rarely wrapped guys up, choosing instead to just plow into them with his shoulder. He gave me anxiety every time he made a tackle because there was always the possibility of targeting.

It’s the first game of the season, we will likely have our third string QB playing. If they score 30 we lose the game.

Lucky for us it’s the first game of the year, so it should be sloppy and low scoring. If we win it’s because it’s a home game.
