Been crunching some numeros again. Surprised to find that since 2011, the average score of a Pac-12 conference game is 39.2-21.6. That’s a larger spread (17.6 points) than I expected.

On average, the winning team scores 81% more points than the loser.

True stat: this Saturday will be the first time BYU and Utah have ever played each other when neither team was ranked, yet both were “receiving votes” in the polls.

Been doing some more number crunching.  Apparently Utah is undefeated (5-0) all time on September 1st.

I’ve been crunching some numbers again.  It looks like there are 85 games this weekend involving an FBS team.  Of those 85, more than half (47) feature an FBS vs. FCS matchup.  And there are many more FBS-FCS games in the coming weeks.
