Very anecdotally it seems to me better. I know I was logged out in the past numerous times but assumed that was by design (even with the keep Mr signed in button) and now less. I use Brave / Chrome on desktop on/off company VPN and those + the mobile app on the phone also on and off Brave VPN

You know, and no offense to anyone, but watching that felt like watching porn where it turned out the chick had a dick.
Nerding out on sports(cfb or otherwise) is not a career path. It’s a labor of love. Even having watched less than an hour of it there is no shadow of a doubt that it’s garbage. This is the difference between being in a…[Read more]

He’s got more talent than size that’s for sure. But beyond that his will is infectious that even fans feel it. As a teammate I’d expect guys being ready to murder someone for him.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic This is the year that we should open up the offense IMO. in the forum Football 5 months ago
I’m not sure if 250/200 is really opening it up any differently. Personally I think the Whittingham 250/250 goal is more achievable this year than prior given that as noted by some there are more defenses oriented around stopping spread offense passing games.
What I want to see is great diversity in play calling and simply being effective each…[Read more]

I mean Whitt was an assistant with zero HC experience… Utah wasn’t top 15 as a program but was pretty good.
I think it does change the calculus a bit when it’s a guy who has been with the program so long and is expected to stick to it.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic Let's discuss the chances of Utah getting called up to the super league in the forum Football 5 months ago
One of the first questions I think that has to be answered is whether there will be football only conferences or even football only members or divisions if there are just 2 conferences.
Utah is a much more well rounded/respected institution right now then in the past. But right now we have a great football program. Conversely a place like…[Read more]

Asshole fans are asshole fans. I think people being wasted is just kind of a way of making an excuse for themselves. Plenty of people are drinking enough to be buzzed and not assholes and plenty of people who don’t drink at all are still assholes.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic Honest question: Urban Meyer hate? in the forum Football 6 months, 1 week ago
It’s really hard to be upset about his tenure at Utah. He brought so much not just to the football team, or just the school, he had a gigantic impact on the community’s relationship with the school. (I do think he benefitted that both Majerus and Mac primed the pump too)
In terms of some of the more personal traits, over time those demons have…[Read more]

Outside of OSU/WSU and the 10 relegation teams who wants that? Maybe the California schools because they all royally messed up their travel?
That seems like a giant step back. The bigger conferences are good for the “cross” games because on any given week there are more good TV games that aren’t just regional. Those divisions just mean everyone…[Read more]

I thought it was pretty poor coaching to stay in a zone and play the lineup he did last night.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic Top 2 B12 Games involve Utah and 4 of the top 15 in the forum Football 7 months, 3 weeks ago
I’m saddened at how meh I feel about all the games Utah isn’t part of.
In the PAC12 there was always interest in what at least a couple of the teams were doing. Maybe as a conference race shapes up that will add some but man there’s just no national brands in the BIG12. (sadly including us)

CityCreekUte replied to the topic article ranking FBS teams desirability in further expansion in the forum Football 7 months, 4 weeks ago
4×12 makes more sense than 4×10 to me.
Also I think geography plays in which can hurt some of teams we would be in competition with in the south and mid west for spots because I think Utah will benefit in some small ways by being easily the most desirable team in the Mountain time zone. Granted it’s the smallest time zone but it does help I think.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic How do we feel about Snoop joining the Browns? in the forum Football 8 months, 1 week ago
I think it’s a bad decision. Being on the Ravens behind Lamar gives him time and money and being around a culture with winning experience. If he was getting significant money to go play for a loser team like the Browns then ok it’s a risk and a payoff. That’s not what he’s getting.

Anyone who was going to care about this was not going to play for Utah anyway because they wouldn’t be the kind of player who “becomes us”

CityCreekUte replied to the topic Dying love of recruiting in the forum Football 8 months, 3 weeks ago
My feeling is you can have a transfer portal or an endless NIL but you can’t have both.
NIL money doesn’t kill the game if you pick your school and stay there.
Transfer portal becomes less of an issue if you aren’t incentivizing it with $$$I don’t think the NCAA will win much in the NIL world because it’s booster money but I do think they have…[Read more]

Really cool to be able to do that kind of data analysis.
Every team on your top 20 I can see why is ahead of Utah (Nebraska would be my biggest question not MSU) but what I’d be most curious about is the trend lines. I have a hard time believing that over the course of the last 20 years but especially since joining the PAC12 Utah wasn’t the…[Read more]
