Well the other undefeated team FSU has been behind in like half their games. I think for both it’s eerily like last year with TCU who managed to pull out win after win in some way shape or form. And what would happen in the playoff.
But I think it’s unlikely they are going to beat Oregon twice.

College basketball as a sport has gotten far less interesting.
Largely I think the style of play brought on by the age of 1 and done (pick & roll + catch and shoot) has really ruined the game.

So fking sad. No desire to go to Rice Eccles for those teams. No desire to travel to any of those shitholes

Eh. I think the Pig and Duck (Chicken) breakfast is a little more apropos summary.
Pigs get cooked and ducks lay eggs.
You work harder when your life depends on it then when its just for a tasty meal.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic Whitt's weekly presser in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
I think the bigger issue for me is that he should have known better than to split up the reps. After the Florida game he needed to name next weeks starter right away and go with it. That it took several games to figure that out is pretty baffling to me. The holding on until the last minute was a bad idea no matter whoever was going to run out…[Read more]

I wondered about it myself. It wouldn’t be something I’d expect Whitt to do but it seems like we’ve had players try not to score so maybe.
With the game on the line would you rather have to face USCs offense or defense for 1 series?

CityCreekUte replied to the topic Have we seen Barnes' ceiling as a QB? in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
I think the last 2 weeks have been huge improvement for him because he knows he’s starting and they are tailoring the offense around what he can do and where he’s at. I don’t think they did that as much for Florida thinking that he was a temp.
Dunno what his ceiling is but I think he’s gonna keep improving.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic All the Pressure in on USC – Can Utah Take Advantage? in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
Over the time in the PAC12 USC has been the rivalry game in football. Given where this season is and where next year takes us I’d pretty much be happy to win this one even if it means we lose the rest.
Beat LA is just so Utah.

CityCreekUte replied to the topic Home vs away in the post 2020 era in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
College refs are notoriously bad (not just PAC12 ones hehe) and they have consistently been shown to favor the home team. As opposed to the NFL where they are all well paid professionals, the pool of refs is tiny compared to all the weekend refs that college gets. Think about it, NFL about a dozen games a weekend. NCAA (FBS) around 50. The college…[Read more]

They’ve already been dropping on wins. Nobody believes in them. Getting blown out by a 2 loss ND is going to take them pretty far. Guessing closer to 10 than 5 depending on the surrounding teams.
