Recruiting and building a team is an intresting thing.
We lost on Jay, but next year we have Fitts, lowell lotulelei, filipo mokofisi, Bradlee Anae/chris hart (3*) /Max Tupai (4*) that will play we also have Leki fotu, Havili-katoa, Pututau and the new signings for a true freshman to make an impack is very difficult on our D-line we have 3 all conference DL returning this year.
We need speed right now I think we got faster
we will send 5 OL to the NFL and I believe that we have guys that will step in there as well.
I for one am so excited to see what our offense and our rebuild Defensive secionday can do.
Top 25 recruiting class with a world class coach is much more important than a star rating.

Utah Ute offense
2013 2014 2015 2016
Yards TD’s PPG Yards TD’s PPG Yards TD’s PPG Yards TD’s PPG
Rushing 1929 19 29.2 2475 21 31.3 2379 24 30.6 2526 24 30.2
Passing 2835 22 2570 20 2340 15 2603 15
Coach talks about balance and I beleive that is going to be key going forward. I like the offesnive trend and the balance look for Utah to score 55 TD’s next year is the magic number.
Point difference
2012 1.5
2013 1.2
2014 6.4
2015 8.3
2016 6.3
I believe with the same offense and offensive coaches we will see a moderate improvement in our offensive numbers similar to the numbers we had in 2008. As we had a 4th year coordinator in 2008. Give Troy and the boy’s this bowl game and the spring to clean up the missed reads, dropped passes, and experience factor and Utah will be averaging 36 points a game next year with a 3000 yard passer, two 700 yard running backs and 4 receivers over 500 yards. This team will be scary good next year even if some of the close calls and games don’t go their way.
Utah is a team to fear week in and week out!!
Go Utes!!

Plain and simple I’m cheering for the Utes and against everyone else. Except Washington. We recruit against colorado, washington state, and I hate U$C so it makes it pretty easy.
Go Utes and noone else!!

I’m one of the biggest Utah homers of all and I thought that Thompson was the answer for Barton until it happened in the Oregon game once Barton got injured. During that last quarter Thompson was in the game and he was exposed on the TE pass down the middle and he was also exposed in the run game. He should of went to the outside shoulder of the QB when he started running to push him back to the flow of the defense for a minimal gain instead he tried to shoot a gap and he missed giving up 30 yards and there for giving Oregon a real shot to throw to the end zone. These small mistakes happen and it sucks that they do. What we need at the U are solid LB like Walker, and Martinez. Tackling machines that took proper drops in pass coverage and proper angles for containment tackles.
I’m super interested to see if Hamilton is a player.
Looking over the recruiting for the past few years, every player that is listed at the top of the class has rarely panned out (except this year.)

we were 8th in the country in turnovers created at 2.4 per game

we were 3rd in the country in turnovers created at 2.3 per game
offense was 58 at 427 yards oer gamethe difference of these 2 years was the competition.
We love the UTES keep it up. Remember it was Ludwigs 4th year as OC in 2008 and Gary Anderson’s 4th year as DC
We had a 1st year DC in Scally and a 2nd year or 3rd depending how you look at it OC in ARod-Harding. -
