Utah came back to take a 30-29 lead. But then Tech closed the half on a 17-6 run. No mistake, Tech’s a good team…I just checked and they finished 3rd in the conference last season plus they made the NCAAs… going to be a tough slig to beat them.

Slow start…down 17-7 with just over five minutes played… Lovering has already missed 3 out of 4 FTs. Utah getting outrebounded by Tech…

First time I’ve ever heard an Utah fan say that he/she has a soft spot for Oregon. If it wasn’t for Knight’s financial doping, they’d be in Oregon State’s place. The funny thing is that Oregon State has an alumnus, Jensen Huang, that makes Phil Knight like one of those people you see pushing a shopping cart around downtown Salt Lake City.…[Read more]

Bye ASU…it was a nice ride while it lasted but you choked at the end…good luck repeating your magic next season.

Whatever the result of this game, whoever wins will get blown out next weekend ala TCU in CG a couple of seasons ago.

I’m telling you…ASU this season has had more lives than a cat. Plus, Texas needs a new kicker…the dude plainly sucks in pressure situations.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Nate Johnson is back!! in the forum Football 3 days, 5 hours ago
I think it’s a big deal. If you saw Johnson play last season, and I know you did, you saw the most dynamic player wearing an Utah uniform. He just wasn’t used correctly. If Beck uses Johnson in a way that accentuates his positive qualities, he can be a very useful player for Utah. Plus, the fact that he’s already spent two years in Utah should…[Read more]

I always thought them of an eastern USC but with far less success, They’re getting their asses handed to them right about now. I still maintain that with a healthy QB, any healthy QB, Utah would have beaten them when we played them in October. They’ve ridden their luck all season and now it’s about to run out.

Back when we first entered the PAC and ASU was decent and led by Todd Graham, I really only hated USC more in the conference. Now that they’re decent again under Dillingham, and their fans have returned to their level of ass douchery, they’re back on my shit list. So, Hook ’em Horns!!!

I like the fact that he’s a former Ute, but so was Quinton Ganther. Loved him as a player, not so much as a coach. All I’m saying is let’s see some positive results.

Are we sure it’s Harlan? Seems like Utah has struck out with every basketball hire since Majerus stepped away. Coach K was about the only one that, at least for a couple of seasons, was able to pull the Utes out of mediocrity. It’s basketball. It shouldn’t be that hard to put together a team to make the NCAAs.

Yeah, I know who you’re talking about. He’s the guy who was just looking at the overall record and not seeing how the team was playing or the low quality of the opponents. I call him the “rainbows and sprinkles” guy. The thing is that, no matter how badly Utah does the rest of the season, Craig Smith is not getting fired. We’ll have him around…[Read more]

Is this a surprise to anyone? We’ve been saying for weeks that this team is about as unathletic and lacking in fundamentals as any in the P4. Maybe, if they’re lucky, the Utes will win half their conference home schedule. They will surely lose every away game against any semi-competent competition.
But don’t worry…Smith will get a pass…[Read more]

Outside sources focused on issues associated with strength and conditioning. It’s not normal for any team to have so many injuries over such a prolonged period of time.
