You have your facts wrong. Whitt himself said after that game that the defense was beat up from Fall Camp. That’s the reason why they laid off on tackling before playing Florida again last year.

Well, to give you my opinion, I went to that game in Gainesville and, other than the INT in the end zone at the end of the game, thought that Rising did pretty damn well considering the environment and circumstances. The stats say the same thing (22/32, 216 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT). Now the real question is when was the last time you saw Utah lose…[Read more]

You think Oklahoma State and UCF are better than that Florida team that Utah lost to in 2022? I do. And Kuithe was healthy that day, had a great game and Utah still lost. All I’m saying is that I’m getting a sense of euphoria from this fan base that’s primed for a letdown. The opponents have their weapons and want to win as well. Other than…[Read more]

I’d like to drink the Kool-Aid but I’m a firm believer in the old adage “pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” I do believe that this particular team’s floor is around nine wins. However, only time will tell if they can put at it all together against teams that will be extremely motivated to beat the Utes.

Eagle, I believe if you had that superpower you might lose interest in the team. No one really likes to know how sausage is made.

Drake C. Toll, besides being a Baylor alum and thus having a rooting interest in an opposing team, has been hating on Utah from the moment the PAC imploded. His constant labeling of KW as “Crazy Uncle Kyle” should tell you all you need to know about his credibility.

Eagle, I was with you on YouTube until the guys at Utah Utes Football Digest started deleting my comments questioning Rising’s return last season and telling me I had a negative attitude because I didn’t drink their Kool-Aid. I will watch Locked on Utes because JT Wistrcill will occasionally push back on things he disagrees that are going on…[Read more]

This will be my first time driving up to Logan for a football game. Does anyone have any tips or advice on where to park for the game? Much appreciated.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic How to watch Utah Ute sports after the move to the Big 12 in the forum Misc 6 months, 3 weeks ago
Yeah, it’s at no extra cost. I have four lines under my name and the package comes included at no extra cost with one of the lines. It’s been like that for about three years.

You think that strategy is feasible? I’m pretty certain that’s a “jump the shark” moment for a lot of university administrators. I know for sure that a significant number of the elite schools have gone on record saying that if athletes are supposed to be school employees, they’ll just drop sports altogether. I also think it would change the…[Read more]

I’ll be honest, like a lot of people here, I view the Big XII as a truck stop conference and Utah’s presence in it as a shotgun marriage. My view is this… I’m going to hold my nose and continue to support Utah wherever it’s at and hold out hope that, when the expansion dust is settled, Utah is back in the same conference as USC, Oregon, and…[Read more]

I read a piece a couple of days ago where Dabo Swinney, himself a former walk-on at Alabama, went nuclear on the issue. Here’s the link:Dabo Swinney irked by proposed roster changes, impact on walk-ons
As stated, the proposal would eliminate all walk-ons and require all football team members to be on scholarship. -

I think that it’ll fail and eventually get back to some formula that makes sense. If you’re dealing with students cum athletes, it makes no sense at all to have a bicoastal conference.

I’ll refer to a comment I’ve mentioned several times on this website across the years… college football is regional, while professional football is national.
Yes, all of this is about money but the real big money only flows in if people pay subscriptions and tune in to watch the games.
Does anyone really think that the vast majority of…[Read more]
