New guys come into the market, and they are told that BYU moves the meter. Which probably shocks them with Utah being the Pac 12. So talking BYU satisfies the BYU audience, and ticks off the Utah fan base. Either way, people still listen and react on social media. That is exactly what they want. If people turned off the radio, instead of reacting negatively, they would know they have to change their discussion.

One of the best stories I ever heard was when someone said they were listening to Jan Jorgensen on the radio, and their child was laughing. Asked why they were laughing, and they said Patrick sounded funny on the radio.

We have to give Carter a little bit of a pass. When Carter stood up after making a tackle in the first quarter, and one of his fingers was going at a 45 degree angle from the rest of his fingers, I almost passed out. He ran of the field, they popped in back into place, and he was back on the field a few plays later.

That would be a good move. Other than a the fact that because I haven’t listened to 1280 in a couple years, I don’t know who their sponsors are. That is a great thought though. Sepp Bladder wouldn’t step down from FIFA’s presidency until he got a call from Coca Cola of all people. They told him, step down or we pull our FIFA sponsorship.

Monson’s swim “scandal” thing made me stop listening to him, when he said Chris Hill’s “head should roll.” Then Jake Scott commented how “Ute Fans are trolling our twitter.” I turned 1280 off. That was 2013. So when Ute fans complain about 1280 the Zoob, I shake my head, and hope they join the Boycott.
