It was not a great season, and started out way better than it ended which broke some hearts, but I think it was a good season for a rebuild year. We all miss Poeltl.

Yeah, I’m not entirely sure about the Collette hate.  When he wasn’t hampered by the concussion protocol, he actually had a good touch down low, and great full-court hustle for a big guy.

edit: admittedly very foul prone. These things tend to surface in the first year of a new program, hope the coaches work on that.

I’ve been reading some articles today that point to Rudy Gobert as an example of how a player can look raw his first few years but still can become great.

That’s a bizarre (and cruel) way to test the liquor laws compliance. Hell, I’ve given a legal-age adult at my table a sip or two, though she had forgotten her license. The wait staff has no control over that kind of thing.

Coach K3 definitely has a charismatic personality that’s right for Utah, but I’m not sure I’ve really seen evidence that he’s much of a coach other than being better than the previous guy and then lucky enough to have D. Wright and Poeltl.  I guess we’ll see.
