ParticipantWell, his average completion length was 3 yards, he repeatedly threw into coverage, and he had the game deciding interception. So basically a model Utah quarterback if you ask me.

ParticipantI like the DnF in concept, but it is in dire need of an update.
It is seriously one of the most poorly rendered logos still in wide use.
I think that relates to some of the appeal of the clean and orderly interlocking U’s.

ParticipantI also like that someone who “builds” cars and rockets (which he absolutely does not do) can’t have secret Nazi links. Everyone please take time to look up the history of your favorite German car manufacturers as well as Operation Paperclip.
Now that said, Elon’s probably not a Nazi. But he’s certainly on the authoritarian scale…which I assume most CEOs are.

Participant1. 16 years ago. This accomplishment is old enough to drive. It’s great, but it’s getting dusty.
2. Thanks to Texas and not being BYU or Boise State. In the timeline where Texas accepts the PAC12 offer, we’re not in a power conference.
3. Genuinely impressive to go back to back in any conference. No critiques, it’s the best thing he has going for him
4. This is the same accomplishment as above. You’re padding.
5. Has the highest % of weeks ranked in the CFP without actually going to the CFP. Good to be respected, but that’s a lot of bites at the apple for never getting over the hump.I think there’s fair arguments on both sides of the Whitt debate. I guess it mostly reads as some people see this season as an inflection point to change and some see it as a season long version of the 2007 game against UNLV.

ParticipantFirstly, I don’t believe in uni luck. I think the retro uni’s just simply look better than the over striped mess of our standard uni.
That said, here’s the stats you crave. Utah’s last big win in the retro uni was against ranked Oregon State in 2022. The only other time we wore the retros that season was the Rose Bowl. Most previous seasons only saw the retros brought out once or twiceThis season we have worn the retros WAAAAY more than ever before.
Here’s the record this season for every garment that has been claimed to be lucky or unlucky at some time in the last decade+DnF 4-2
UU 0-4
White Pants 2-3
Red Pants 2-1
Black Pants 0-2 -

ParticipantWe’ve had one TE drafted in like 30 years and he’s been ok.
I don’t get where Utah fans get this ‘Tight End U’ idea from. Because we have briefly emphasized them? -

ParticipantSee? Like clockwork.

Participant3 things you can set your watch by in the Ute fan base:
1) Basketball transfers
2) Calls to fire an Offensive Coordinator
3) Oldheads whimpering about f**king Bubbles.

ParticipantThose Vandy fans need to read more Ute fan boards. Then they’ll found out that Vandy’s sucking isn’t really Ludwig’s fault.

ParticipantThe lifecycle of a Utah OC
Phase 1: Hire made
Phase 2: Talk of high powered offense in spring training
Phase 3: Fall camp hype “This is the best offense we’ve had in years!”
Phase 4: Underperformance with bright spots
Phase 5: Talks of internal division amongst coaches
Phase 6: Graceful exit
Phase 7: Fans hope the next OC will be THE ONELather, rinse, repeat.
