Only a snowflake would be offended by that play. He’s playing big boy basketball, he’s not looking to end anyone’s career. if you’re looking for dirty play you’ll find it in every good player in the NBA.

I think where the biggest improvements will be is in the actual play calling, development, recognition, adjustment, etc. no more running the same play 2 and sometimes 3 times in a row. utilizing plays to develop a large gain later in the series or game. Just an all around better game planning. I’m excited!

I think SJSU is more athletic than we are giving them credit for. That being said I see Whitt pounding the ball and wearing them down by the third. I see a low score until Utah pulls away in the third quarter 24 – 6. I hope its higher though.

There has been a lot of talk of Utah should have used him as a receiver. I forget who reported it but during tryouts with the Redskins it was mentioned that Utah tried to move him but he was quite adamant that he was a QB not a receiver. Utah has never been shy about moving players around so makes sense I guess.

Looks good moving forward so far. Maybe pull Thompson out of safety spot?

Utah has to start staggering their QB recruits better. I remember when we had a glut of QB’s only to see them disappear one by one.
