Ena was pretty hard on Francis. He didn’t show up in great shape, and he wasn’t getting the playing time he thought he deserved. When he did play, he wasn’t fully confident with the defensive system. Which led to more “tough love” from Ena.
Looking back, Francis says he’s grateful for the lessons Ena taught him, and he says he’s better for it.

This guy even flies out to ~4 Penn St games each year. He feels Utah shouldn’t be losing too much sleep over the Bowen situation. He said the Utah media was overhyping Bowen from the beginning, and that he was known for taking plays off and inconsistency.

With the first three opponents expected to be more run heavy teams, and Utah being thin on experience at LB, I could see us going with a 5-2-4 look. DL is one of the deepest position groups, so why not make up for linebacker deficiencies by having an extra DL on the field?
