What are the odds of the Basketball Gods matching up the Utes and the Cougars if they both go into the NIT?

Looks about right to me but we might even be better than California right now

I like him a lot. I was most happy the Bonham finally looked like the Bonham of last year…..I didn’t know where he went during December

We still have 5 of the top 100 on the rivals list with medium interest in Utah…Holmes…Lewis ….Bolden…Benjamin….and Jackson. Only Benjamin made a visit and it was back in November. Do we have a chance at any of them? Anyone know or heard anything?

Have watched Ute Basketball for at least 50 years. Went to Honolulu to watch them in the Tournament. I was very disappointed. Yes they loss Kuzma immediately in the first game but the play by the rest of the team was very uninspired. Moments of great play by Barefield but he better learn how to play defense and make a pass or two. What is with…[Read more]

Hal Evans replied to the topic So…what's up with our MBB recruiting? in the forum Basketball (Men) 8 years ago
My take is that the recruiting reporting while important is way overblown. One thing recruiting doesn’t consider is heart and the college coach. many of you are too young to go there but Utah has never been most 4 or 5 star recruits destination. When you look at the late 90″s Utes anyone want to guess how many 4 and 5 star recruits we had. Not Van…[Read more]

Well he did vote LSU in at 23 and his ballot is peppered with ACC and SEC programs…..shows the favoritism of the East Coast and lack of respect for the west

No way he even considers Texas….Texas is a nightmare place to coach not only because of their present situation but all the nonsense you have to manage on the side. He may leave but it won’t be to Texas. I think Coach makes another run at Hill for assistants compensation and if he gets push back again that may be the genesis of his exit. I don’t…[Read more]

Simple…….Wilson healthy and stays healthy we win by 14 points. Our defensive secondary is better than last year….there has been no drop off with special teams….my concern is this the game we should win that we lose or is that next week….not trying to be a downer but that is our mo

I have said it for four years and I will say it again….Travis Wilson would have been the type of quarterback we say in Las Vegas last December and in Eugene last night if we hadn’t had the annual revolving door of offensive coordinators and the weekly threat that he was going to be replaced by a clearly inferior KT…..

Hal Evans replied to the topic Is There a Clear Separation between TW and KT? in the forum Football 9 years, 2 months ago
Travis would be a better quarterback if they didn’t change OC’s every year and let him build confidence by leaving him at #1 and just quit playing a rotation game. KT is not the answer he isn’t even close to Wilson as a passer and Wilson is more effective running the ball. Problem is if either of them run the ball in the PAC-12 they will be an…[Read more]
