I agree with you whole heartedly.
Look what it has gotten us, losses to Zona, Zona St, TCU and Houston….newsflash they are all not good football teams. Which means we aint close to being good. Hurts a lot to get the carpet pulled out on us.
My feelings are bench all seniors that don’t have a shot at the next level (not many) and play all the young guys to see what they have. Turn the train wreck into an extended training camp.
Looking at our schedule I do not see another win. Only win that can save the season is beating the TDS Jackwagons which I would not beat on happening. If you are 40+ year old Ute Fans you know what these type of seasons look like and what I am talking about. The 80’s and most of the 90’s were miserable comparatively speaking to 2003 and on.
Sigh….Having said all that I appreciate you guys hanging out in the misery with me.

Stadium was not as loud as I thought it would be. Although the student section seemed to be a bit more ravenous as compared to the MUSS (my opinion). This probably would have been different had they been leading the whole game instead of us. The fans I met are fully behind Gundy and love the traditions. Very much a pro USA/Country feel to the crowd.
Concessions, water and restrooms were abundant and not crowded way better than RES. The second level for each of these makes a huge difference. RES is really terrible for this…just not enough space for people.
Someone else mentioned “hang out” spaces before the game. I echo this statement, felt very comfortable and inviting to just hang out and enjoy the shade before going out to the furnace.
It was hot at the game. Kudos to those who say it was not that bad. Sucks that it is 73 degrees there today and not a couple of days ago.
Awesome huge screen in the East End zone was nice but from our angle it was hard to read all the time. Hard to see the play clock/yardage down information from our seats as well really not a good angle/distance from any of them.
Fans were great around us and very friendly to talk to.
Few drunks acting like morons (cussing saying nasty stuff) before and after the game as was mentioned above, but we have our own of those. This only happened a ways away from the stadium too and from our car.
Overall I would go back. I had it pegged as the stadium I wanted to go to as soon as we joined the BIG12. It is now checked off my list so I would probably spend my money trying another venue in the future. Maybe WV or Kansas next year.
Lastly I am a big College Wrestling fan….it was very cool that they brought out David Taylor giving him props on winning the US world team trials. Those that follow wrestling know what I am talking about.

I contacted the ticket office over a month ago and they had 2 tickets left. I needed more than that so I went to the Ticket Aftermarket companies. Got what I needed in Section 239.

Vitos….it’s a Cheesesteak place in Bountiful that I am a bit partial to since I got to know the owner (Vito) a few years ago. Only open Tues-Fri right now from 11 until he runs out of Bread, usually around 1:30. Cash only business, yes its a brick and mortar, where you make your own change. There was an article on his business/model done a few months ago by KSL/Desnews/Fox. My go to sandwich is the Cream Cheese Philly add mushrooms/garlic with a side of Jalapeno sauce. Damn good sandwich suggest getting there early or you will run into a line and he may say “NO Sandwich (Soup) for you”.

I would be shocked if we win either game.
No running game and multiple INTs thrown by Wilson every week couple with we cannot score consistently unless our Defense does…which they haven’t all year. Other than luck what makes you think we can beat a ranked team at home or a bad team on the road? Just look at the TDS and Houston games if you need an example of what I am talking about.

Wedding or not I do not blame any Season Ticket Holder either way.
Truth be told I am testing the waters to see what I can get for mine.
The Offensive product on the field is exactly that…OFFENSIVE to Utah Fans who spend their hard earned money and time watching the last four weeks garbage product on one side of the ball.

My tickets say Section 239 on them not 333A like what you linked above.
We are flying into Tulsa Friday evening. Boone Pickens is 6’s from Oklahoma City/Tulsa.

Sadly I agree with you ALUF. We will finish in the bottom, if not the bottom of the BIG12 in MBB with virtually no chance to make it to a tournament that matters for years. Can football start early?
