I have been to quite a few spring games. That game was by far the most fun to watch. I understand that the schemes were watered down, however, when was the last time 40 points were scored in one of those games? I am truly excited about this year’s team and am looking forward to the start of the season.

I don’t know about better seats. AA is right at center court. I sit in BB. I actually prefer the upper bowl because I can see the plays develop better. It is a little harder to see the up close action but that usually is remedied by the video board. I guess we all have our own quirky ways of viewing things.

Very disappointing start for sure. I am glad UCLA fumbled that punt. That seemed to wake up the Utes.

It is a rule. Regardless if we like it or not it has been a rule since I played in the 1970’s. Like holding or clipping or any other rule it needs to be followed or a penalty will be assessed. The players know it is a rule as do the coaches. It is up to them to follow it. It is up to the refs to call it if they see it. Simple as that.

I think that a ref should not throw a flag unless he is certain that there is a penalty. I am tired of refs picking up flags that shouldn’t have been thrown to begin with. Be sure of the call and throw the flag after that occurs. How hard is that?

It is a horse collar violation. The refs missed the call. Having said that, there is no way to get every call correct. However, I think the PAC 12 refs are possibly the worst in the country. Progressives and their new ideas. Much like the giant drum taking away the crazy dancing lady. You put family values into the mix and you inevitably wind up with something lame.

We took the train down for the last game. UTA bused us to and from the Frontrunner station. No stress about traffic. It definitely made the experience more enjoyable. The stadium is not the easiest to get around in and starting to show its age. Reminds me of Rice- Eccles from the 1990’s.

I don’t buy any comment that claims someone dumped beer on them after the game while in the stadium. The beer is long gone by the end of the game. I can believe that some idiot threw a liquid one someone. It is very unlikely that it was beer.
