dwainegf replied to the topic What are your expectations for next year's basketball season? in the forum Basketball (Men) 3 years, 7 months ago
I always expect a perfect season because I am a true homer. LOL However, I would expect a competitive team that plays defense and rebounds. I also expect an NIT bid at minimum and a win or two in the Pac12 Tournament.

Do you really win when you cheat to win? Philosophical question here. My answer is no.

I love the idea of Smith from USU. His enthusiasm is contagious. He reminds me of a 2004 Urban Meyer.

dwainegf replied to the topic Interesting accounting in the season ticket invoice in the forum Football 3 years, 8 months ago
My trick knee tells me that it is setting up future increases in ticket costs. Mine said $160 for each ticket which is roughly $27 per game per seat. Last year that number was around $75 per game. If they slowly raise the per game price over a period of time to get it to $75 per game and keep the obligation for the Crimson Club, they will likely…[Read more]

You don’t have to be anti LDS to love the Utes. I’m not LDS but I went to high school in Idaho Falls. I pulled for BYU because they were on TV and even considered going there on a baseball scholarship. After moving here and attending the U, I am now a staunch Utes fan. Because I lived in SE Idaho and here for most of my life, I would have to be…[Read more]

Martinez played sparingly and looked a little lost. He needs to get used to the speed of the game before he is a contributor. My take of course.

I tore my hammy and had a bruise that encompassed my entire leg. It took 18 months to heal. The hamstring is not just a muscle there are connecting tissues involved and if those tear, it is a very serious injury. FWIW, my hamstring hurt way more than the ligaments I tore in my ankle.

Don’t get me wrong here, I think kids transferring is a problem, however, how many have left and tore it up at an institution that plays our level of basketball? In other words, who do we really miss? Today’s society wants it all and we want it now. We complain constantly about others and have zero patience. We expect perfect from everyone except…[Read more]

I’ve had tickets since 1993 and have already paid for this year. If allowed, I will be at the games this year. I too believe that there has been a slight overreaction to the virus. Hopefully the powers that be get things right in the future and we can soon go back to a more normal life.

He has shown flashes of brilliance followed by meh. If he can find a way to be brilliant with more consistency, I believe he can make a run at the NBA. He definitely has a ton of work to do.

I know quite a few people who have DUI convictions. Most of them are stand up citizens now. I’m glad no one was hurt and I hope he learns his lesson and doesn’t have any repeat performances.

You forgot Allen in your likely lineup. I do see your point. It is hard finding playing time for 10 players. Allen, Jones, Carlson, Martinez, Lohner
With Jantunen, Battin, Gach, Brenchley, and Thiune off the bench would be pretty formidable. -

So you guys remember way back when, I mean way back less than a month ago when we beat Kentucky………….
Living and dying on one game’s outcome is likely very stressful. This team is beating expectations and will likely continue to do so. They are usually very fun to watch. That’s what I generally do, have fun while watching. Very refreshing…[Read more] -

I like Walton’s basketball knowledge and that he prefers that the ref’s stay out of he way. However, he does talk way too much.
