Not every team has 13 superstar players. Battin is what he is. He hustles and plays hard. That is plenty good enough for me.

Drawing charges is a big part of his game. He is too short to “Man up” as you call it against the bigs. He does flop for sure but if he doesn’t he will end up more battered and bruised than he already is.

I’m glad I don’t have the mentality of a great many of you guys. The game is 40 minutes long. There will be some WTF moments during the game. Having your emotions run by those WTF moment must be exhausting. Go Utes!

I’m with BD. They looked too much like Ohio State’s uni’s for my liking. We need to showcase our own brand.

I worry about every game. Not the deep down dread kind of worry , but still a if things go sideways worry.

7 Tackles, a forced fumble and a sack for an interior lineman is a monster game. Hell that’s a pretty good game for any defensive player. In most cases linebackers and safeties get tackles because they have space to avoid blocks especially if the d-line is doing their job my occupying the o-linemen. Football 101 info here.

Does anyone know how the scholarships are broken down with this team. We have more than 13 players, we are losing one to graduation after this year, we are signing 3 new players this year. How do we make this work.

I truly dislike the Lakers.

Having played sports in high school, I worry about every game. I believe the Utes’ coaches do as well. I just hope the players stay focused and believe that if they do we will win this week’s game. Do the same next week and get that same result and so on and so on…… Go Utes!!!

I’ve been to almost all the home games for the last 5 years. Season tickets are about $125 each for the upper bowl. I see very little reason to not support this team.

Exhibition games that do not count on your record are played against lower division teams.
Unlike many teams the Utes do not have any of these games on their regular season schedule.
All the games are against division one schools.

I believe there were two factors affecting last week’s attendance. One was the weather for sure , the other was the opening of the deer season. About 10% of the population goes hunting on that weekend. This year was the first in a while that conflicted with the hunt.

Telling me about what my opinion should be is wrong.
Having said that I do like the helmet.

Earthquakes limit building height.

Definitely Trax. To avoid getting smashed in the crowd after the game I sit and chat with people for 20 minutes or so after the game and then make my way to the train. Uber or Lyft are also ways to avoid parking issues.
