I have had season tickets for more than 25 years. I also likely qualify as an older fan. Although I do not like too much preseason hype, this years team looks to be better than any we’ve had since we joined the conference. As long as we avoid catastrophic injuries I believe we will be competing for the Rose Bowl at a minimum. Go Utes!!!!

I have a positive thing. I like the in game music much more than the past.
I miss the cannon blast for the 4th quarter. The food selection is much better than the Huntsman Center’s.

I agree with Tony.
Covey isn’t quite 100%. I’m not sure he will be until much later. I just hope he survives the getting there. He is very competitive and he wants to play. His style of play is all out. I don’t believe he knows how to bad off.

I believe that became apparent when we had the game with 6 turnovers and still won.
I understand that the games are usually close and that we will lose a game now and then to the TDS. However, it won’t be because they had a more talented roster.

Before I moved to Utah I was a BYU fan. Even though I am not a Mormon. That was because I like to watch offensive minded teams. My perspective changed within 6 months of living here. I am leaving a car at the Orem Frontrunner lot on Wednesday. I will take the train down on Thursday and park at the University Mall to catch a shuttle to the game. I will then catch a shuttle to my car and drive home after the game. I do not trust that the trains will be available after the game and do not want to be stranded in Utah County.

Last year some of the games’ times were not posted until the Monday of game week. It is very frustrating to be sure. The only certainty is that the games’ dates are the actual dates for the games. the times are posted late and widely vary at times.

I, too love the sweaters.

Let’s get a reality check here. The NCAA rule book is like the BYU Honor Code. It has so many rules, some of which are of the WTF variety, that is is nearly impossible to not get caught doing something.

The reasons behind most campus’ not selling alcohol are many but the main ones are insurance and liability costs and the drinking age verification process.
