Utah most certainly will go to the transfer portal to find an experienced QB. Barnes is transferring out for the 2024 season. There isn’t anyone else good enough left to be the starter next year. Rose is not much better than NJ. If Utah goes with what they have currently in the QB room in 2024, it’s going to be a rough B12 year.

If I was HC at Utah, I’d find 1-2 legit pure pocket passers with a lil running ability. Pick up 3-4 legit recivers, MP is ok, but the rest are crap,

Barnes would pass for 250-300 yards per game in a pass Happy offense, He should consider transferring out even if it has to be a G5 program.

I heard Elijah Brown might be reconsidering his commitment to Stanford given its mediocre performance against Sacramento ST. Utah could be a landing spot for this talented 4* QB. He’ll be at the UCLA game on Saturday.

Colorado will get a reality check when they run into Utah. They will also not beat USC, OR, OR st, and possibly not even WSU.

Utes badly need CR back ASAP. It was a good game for 2.5 quarters. Johnson was inefficient late 3rd. And most of the 4th quarter. Will not win many games purely on running ability vs. Pac teams.

The only QB that even comes close to Tyler Huntley, is none other than John Hays. I think He went on to play in the NFL. Not sure if He is currently on a roster or not, but that guy could really throw the pig sking 100 MPH. He could take a hit too.

If CR is out for the season, and Barns bounces back from a single bad game, Utah goes 10-2, maybe even 11-1. TRIFECTA P12 CHAMPS FO SURE!
