Yeah. I’ve never done any research on the subject. This is 100% my own naive opinion and I could be completely in the wrong. It’s interesting though and kinda funny because my daughter and I were having this same discussion a couple of days ago.

Black guy dancing silly? You just killed the illusion.
I get what you’re saying but my point is that it’s more a part of our story telling structure as it helps paint a more vivid picture. Is it unnecessary at times, sure, but it’s not necessarily indicative of racism or prejudice.

Almost anytime anybody tells a story or talks about something that happened where a black person was involved they start by saying “this black guy” or something similar. I don’t think it’s racist or even a problem most of the time. When we’re describing something to somebody we’re essentially painting a picture for them, and it’s easier to see the…[Read more]

Add another shutout to the list. Game ends 8-0 by mercy rule in six innings. Amazing. 7-0 on the season with 6 shutouts and a total score of 65-5. I don’t care who they’re playing, that’s impressive.

Softball is ranked 16th in the nation and has won 6 games by a total score of 57-5 with all 5 runs coming from San Jose State. Three-quarters of the team is from SoCal, so it’s not a huge surprise, but the stadium is majority Utah fans today. Love this program and what Coach Hogue has done with it.

And San Francisco is full of liberal millionaires. You simply cannot afford to live in the city if you aren’t very highly paid. Even historically impoverished areas such as Fillmore and Hunter’s Point have been overrun by tech workers. The tech…[Read more]

Hoping to see Utah softball take out Long Beach State tomorrow, but it poured all day out here (in Long Beach) and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Utah is ranked 16th in the nation by the way.

His best game as a Ute, imho, better than his 332 yard performance. He broke multiple tackles on seemingly every rush versus Indiana, whereas the o-line was opening massive holes against UCLA. Both performances were spectacular, but he was the complete package in the bowl game.

In some Muslim countries over 90% of the population believes Sharia Law should be the official law of the land. Even in more liberal areas, outside of the West, it’s still well over 50%. That means that a lot of these people who are fleeing terrible conditions in their homeland are likely bringing a horribly oppressive ideology along with them.…[Read more]
