Thanks. I was just about to take TroyWilliams4Heisman.com live, but I’ll hold off for now.

Just looking at his offer list and ranking it seems pretty safe to assume that this a kid we would never have had a chance at 4-5 years ago. This is a big deal. Rivals has him as a top 25 wide receiver for christ sakes.

Just looking at his offer list, and ranking I can firmly say this is likely a kid we would never have had a chance at 4-5 years ago. This is a big deal.

And now we have somebody to develop them, and give them an opportunity to run a dynamic offense. I’m already starting to get jacked. Somebody throw some shade my way, talk me down with some pessimism.

I was worried that we had shot ourselves in the foot a bit by recruiting Florida so hard the past few years. Don’t get me wrong, we got some great players who will pay major dividends in the near future, but we all knew Erickson was on his last leg (so to speak). California and Texas are key if Utah is going to continue to compete at a high level,…[Read more]

I have to assume a big part of the reason he’s only ranked at 3 stars is due to his size. 5-11 to 6′ works at the college level (hell, even in the NFL) if the skillset and grit is there. I’m sure Shelly’s been told countless times he’s just too short. Don’t know anything about the kid, but history tells me he’ll have a chip on his shoulder coming in.

As a necrophile I must aver, I thoroughly “examined” UFN, and it’s not merely dead, it’s most sincerely dead.

I wouldn’t be so sure. His short list is a trio of staunch conservatives. Neil Gorusch, who claims he has been told he will be the pick, sided with Hobby Lobby in their case and is a strong advocate of religious liberties.

I don’t think he gives a shit about looking like he’s conceding anything.

The Rivals page I linked to above doesn’t show that he did.

Wasn’t aware of Moore. Looked at his Rivals page. I usually take a look at the offers over the star rating, and he has an impressive list. https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/181670

I don’t know much about recruiting so I’m hoping somebody who follows could give a rundown of any others. Last year Luafatasaga surprised some folks. Do we have any thing like that in the works this year?

Me too. Location wise, geography wise, climate wise, and politics wise it seems like a good fit.

Same here. My parents and sister are constantly trying to get me to move back down there. It’s only a five hour drive, so we cruise down there pretty regularly, but I can’t take more than 3-4 days of SoCal. I went to high school in Utah, and hated it at the time. Could not wait to get out. Now, I miss it quite a bit, especially the skiing.
