Definite cheap shot. I think it was in the second quarter. Right after the kickoff one of the up men popped Enis pretty good instead of retreating and setting up for a return. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that on a kickoff before.

I don’t think there’s a lot of fanbases in the country that would sit through a cold, rainy night for almost four hours. A lot of people look at it as entertainment and aren’t as passionate about it as most of us on this board. Their comfort is more important to them at times.

They are basically glorified garbage bags. I feel your pain. My buddy was lucky enough to score one of the fleece lined ones from Costco a while back. I was super jealous tonight. He only breaks it out once a year maybe but damn if it doesn’t make days like today much more tolerable. I wish they’d bring them back, I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

I actually think their schedule lines up nicely. They miss Washington and Stanford and get Wazzu, USC, Oregon, and Arizona all at home. Their toughest conference road game is here in SLC.

I am officially jealous. I’ve been looking at them for a while now. A couple of friends have them and everything they do has been really good. 
I don’t have any advice to offer other than just remember low and slow and I think you’ll be fine. 

Mid City in Midvale is awesome. Stadium seating setup if you get there early enough, with enough screens to make you dizzy. 
Trolley Wing Co. is good too. Also in Midvale just across the way from Mid City.  Great wings.
Lumpy’s on highland is a good spot if you don’t care too much about food. Friendly long time Ute bar. Not the best TV setup…[Read more]

Agreed. Definitely excited to see it move forward finally. May have come off a bit selfish, but not too happy about being forced out. All for the greater good I guess. 

I honestly can’t remember the last kickoff we’ve had before 3pm other than maybe bowl games.  I’m not sure what can be done about it at this point though. I’ve thought about this too. It makes you wonder where the offense would be without Erickson. I’m sure he recruited other kids, but none as high profile as the three you mentioned. 
Do we still have access to Florida or was that strictly an Erickson thing? One would think the staff would spend some time down there given our current situation. 

Agreed.  Gary Anderson was on yesterday with Riley talking about that very issue. Pointed out Anae specifically and said his non stop motor sometimes leads to overpursuit.  The good news is they are obviously aware of it and are actively trying to correct it.  But it’s a fine line.
