Man I wish I could say I’m excited for 25. All this portal, NIL madness is sucking the love of the game from me.

I also bit my tongue when the players were just amateurs. Coaches have always been fair game. Now, I would have no issue with anyone that would boo, or otherwise call out players for poor play.

I won’t be watching. Other than ASU I don’t know who’s in it.

Yes. He went from Provo PD to Harriman PD. I believe he helped put up at the U during that time. He was then added as a GA and now an assistant position coach.

What you’re saying is the kids should not have power to make as much as they can off their own talents? Courts shooting down your idea isn’t “giving” them power they shouldn’t have. It’s ensuring their rights are not being trampled by rich universities. The other poster is also correct. The only way to avoid legal action is to have the athletes agree to it. Eagle was correct when he said this would just be another NCAA, and we all have seen how that turned out.

Thanks for the response. It seems like I just need to wait a second. No big deal. Thanks for all you do in providing this site for us. I hope I didn’t sound like I was complaining. Just reporting what was going on. But it sounds like it’s not an issue after all.

The only solution will be to treat the kids like the professionals they want to be treated as and make them sign contracts.
