Maybe you can ask Tony to eliminate the “They So Poo Poo” category so we can pat ourselves on the back as we don’t “stoop down to their level”.
Come on, this is what the TSPP category is for. We actually don’t have too many posts in this category as compared to all the others.

” just didn’t love that we started a thread about how TSPP is “breaking their own rules”
BYU fans trash LDS Ute fans all the time. When BYU “breaks their own rules” it is utter hypocrisy when their fans support it.

Seems to me byu donors are tying to get this guy to come to byu to play. They are offering up to $4.5 million. I have a hard time thinking this isn’t some form of “pay to play”.
Multiple sources tell @On3sports that No. 1 recruit AJ Dybantsa is expected to land an NIL package north of $3M and could get as high as $4M.
A source close to BYU said, “4 to $4.5 million is what they are prepared to pay.”

Something is off here.
Either that church leader that made that statement is not aware of Ryan Smith’s current endeavors (I doubt it) to make BYU exactly that (pay to play) or Smith and the university are turning a blind eye to a church General Authority. (A big No-No if you’re BYU.)

I read on X that some players deleted those posts. Now I can’t find the X post that said that.
Can anybody confirm this? I’m not on Instagram so I can’t know.

Utah had a players-only meeting this week. Micah Bernard said Isaac Wilson said some words that motivated the team.

At the player’s meeting, Isaac Wilson spoke to the team, and the players say it was a great moment to rally around their new QB1.
“It’s no longer freshman, it’s QB1,” Brant Kuithe said.

I like this.
LFG!
In talking with players, there was another player only meeting to address Cam’s status, Isaac Wilson shared a message with the team to motivate and rally the troops. It also sounds like everyone is looking forward to prep with knowing who the QB will be and no more need for…

Not surprising, but here it is.
Whittingham opens the press conference: "Tough weekend in Tempe, Cam Rising is out indefinitely, Isaac Wilson will be our starter until further notice."

I agree. When Whitt closed the spring scrimmages to the public I was pissed. But for selfish reasons – I just enjoyed going to them.
But closing fall camp almost 100% to the media has consequences.
Since then, the team has been way over-hyped. No inside information. Just “we’re a top 5 team” with nobody left to give an alternative view of the…[Read more]

I work with some byu fans and have some family members that are good byu fans.
But we all know they have a good portion of their fambase that is trash.
I’m sure they will point out some of our obnoxious fans and sure enough we have them. But we admit we have them. Rarely do byu fans admit they have them – and far more than they realize.
But…[Read more]

Agree.
Games like Saturday, as unpleasant as they are, “reset” my mind on this, and remind me of two things: that it is just a game, and that I am sometimes way too emotionally attached.

Lots of talk about the running backs and I agree. We have nobody behind Bernard.
Is Ganther an issue? Something else?
Just seems like with Utah’s history at the RB position we should be much better off.

Good post.
We’re still in the driver’s seat. Cam has to not be rusty, which I think he’ll be fine. But somebody has to step ut up behind Bernard. We are THIN there.

“According to sarigan ratings, the Big 12 is the 2nd ranked league, even ahead of the big ten.”
Regardless of what sagarin says,it is the same bad logic that concludes that the XII is better than the B1G as it was by byu fans for many years saying the Pac 12 was bad.
I haven’t checked, but I would guess this nonsense would be all over…[Read more]

Byu is the ultimate church, university experience.
Some members of the church want that. Others don’t.
Simple as that.
