6 foot 7 TE. Jump ball for the TD in the back of the end-zone over much smaller DBs? Block an opponent’s kick to win the game?
Interesting commit for Utah for sure.

If this is true, and Caliman has some insider info this may be the best WR corps we would have had ever going into game #1. However, I have not seen or heard any confirmation of this on social media. But I absolutely would be stoked if this happened!
Yes, but even if Badger didn’t end up at Utah, I still think the current WR room is the best…[Read more]

Yea. An NFL draft poll.

Yogi Roth said that he wouldn’t be available in the fall. I don’t know if that refers to fall camp, or fall games, or the whole season. It was a vague statement.

Thanks for the detailed description. It’s really interesting.

Regarding the underthrown pass for a TD, someone on the Deseret News comment forums posted thjs:
“Against a two high safety look, Wilson threw the receiver open to the inside, a smart, high percentage throw.”
I don’t have enough football understanding to comment on that opinion, but I was curious if anyone else thinks the same thing.

BD replied to the topic Recruiting: Bear Tenney TE predicted to commit to Utah in the forum Football 8 months ago
Wow. Look at that offer list!
Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Washington, Oklahoma, Michigan, etc.
I’m sure he’ll be bumped up to a solid 4-star.
Hoping for this one!

I agree. I used to attend as many as I could in the Spring – especially the scrimmages. Sucks that they are closed.

We ought to do a running thread that just counters Cougarboard ridiculousness. We’d have post after post. One by one. I bet we’d have thousands of posts after awhile. LOL.

Yup. That was one of the silliest arguments ever. They are desperate to find anything and ignore the absurdity of i…[Read more]

I used to be irritated by these types of CB posts. Now I just find them comical. I mean junior high level logic is so common on CB.
I rarley bother with the ridiculous logic on CB, but sometimes I get a kick out of shredding their 7th grade level logic like I am going to do here.
Like tOSU playing their “third stringers”. Well, at least this…[Read more]

Wow. It’s fantastic. I’ve listened to more than half. The Fano brothers are simply awesome. Also, it’s great to hear them talk up Utah’s culture – makes me admire the players so much more. You aren’t there to slack or fool around and “you become us, we don’t become you” seems to be deadly serious, which I love.

I was wondering about that also. I guess nobody has any idea (good or bad) about what “Chisme” is referring to? It feels like bad news to me too, but I guess it is too vague to know for sure.
If somebody knows what this is about, please send me a message – I promise I’ll keep things secret.

It’s sponsored by Rep. Jordan Teuscher, a BYU grad. I’m sure he’ll make it an advantage for BYU in some way or another.

Was thinking the same. I think Devin Brown was the backup and he went down. So it’s 3rd string QB in.
Kind of funny and certainly familiar watching Missouri stack the box knowing tOSU is going to run it and not have much of a passing threat.

BD replied to the topic Ghost & OnlyU in the forum Football 11 months ago
Well this would certainly be a good thing for BYU.
Numerous people posting on X saying that he wants to play offense – tight end. However none of these X posts seem to be anything more than just speculation – just “I heard that he want to play TE.”
If that is true then it probably makes sense to go to BYU since he would have to compete…[Read more]

BYU is dead last in HS recruiting in the B12. They are second to last when combined with transfers.
They are a fan base that does the most trash talking and puts up the most hype when it makes the least amount of sense to do so. Yes they have improved their recruiting – I’ll give them that.
They think illogically about moving up recruiting in…[Read more]
