It didn’t look like Utah really opened up their playbook last night. A few run variations and slant passes and that was it. I’m sure when conference games hit we’ll see some more exciting offense.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one annoyed by the espn cameras. They were panning around the field only to jerk the camera to catch the last part of a play. Hopefully Utah gets more prime channels with their ranking this year.

As much as I love Utah basketball (my brother played for them during the tail end of the mountain west period) I’m glad I live in Lubbock right now. Texas tech reminds me of what Utah could be, very similar play style and talent. Tech is just so well coached and disciplined, I wish Utah would take a page out of their book.

It’s nice to see Utah investing in a offensive coordinator, hopefully this one does well and stays for 3 or more years. Utah desperately needs consistency on the offensive side, that happens and they’ll be fighting for the championship every year.

WSU was playing lights out for a stretch late season, hopefully that team shows up, wins in a nail biter against Oregon and Utah has a double digit win against WSU… I can dream right???

Coaches are looking at Bama to be a stepping stone for a head coach job. If they can cut it as an assistant at the consistent top 2 school in NCAA they can be a head coach right?

I was so happy went kingsbury opted out of USC, imagine Washington state with 4 and 5 star recruits….

If moss and Huntley can stay healthy Utah should be the favorite to win the pac12 next year

Shelley also wasn’t getting any help from the receivers tonight and the run game was non existent. Tough game to watch but these two teams have the top defenses in the conference for a reason. 

Most people here are desperate for the leach years back. I don’t think wells will give that but the big12 has a few bottom feeders so a 6 or 7 win season every year should be achievable. 

I live in Lubbock and most of the tech fans here  are hesitant but optimistic about wells. We’ll see if he can transition to big 12 play
