They won’t lose this. If the Runnin’ Utes are deflated they’ll win close, like 1-5 pts. If they come focused and pissed, they’ll win by 20+.

No doubt having Poeltl would have had a dramatic effect on our projections. I mean, I’d pencil us in as a S16 team had we had Jakob for a third year. –Sigh–

I kinda wish we weren’t bringing in the biggest recruit in…maybe ever on a 9pm tip that fans seem generally unexcited about.

I’ll be there, and bringing a couple of friends from tickets that a neighboring ticket holder knew he wouldn’t use for such a late tip off. And I also turned down four other tickets from a neighbor who doesn’t want to make the trip so late.

At this point the question is, short of winning the PAC tourney, can any combo of wins get us in? What if we run the table to the conf tourney final but lose that game? Is that enough?

I get what you mean, but at what point do you just take the good with the bad? I mean, for all of Majerus’s genius, he also had some serious issues. Look at Romar in Washington. He can recruit like a crazy man, but seems weak with X’s and O’s.

I agree, it seems like LK has finally got this thing pointed where he wants it. Just think, while Larry was still calibrating this program we’ve been to two NCAA’s (including one Sweet 16), and put two Larry-recruited guys in the NBA with one going in the lottery. And this is all arguably in the rebuild of the program.
