Reference my earlier point on another thread about ESPN. They will spend more airtime talking about/covering the draft than all the networks’ time combined showing actual NFL football this fall. There appears to be no limit to the amount of time ESPN feels is worthy of spending on football talk.

Agreed. Personally, I don’t understand why every college player doesn’t declare for the NBA draft every year. You get a free evaluation of your game from the best in the business. It’s like having Phil Mickelson give you an in-depth evaluation of your golf swing for free.

I’ve always said I have no problem with Jimmer – he’s very good at (a limited skill set of) basketball, seems like a nice guy, and not as dweeby as most BYU-Provo types. It’s his fan club that makes me nauseous.
